Storytelling Headshots

I highly recommend Storytelling Headshots. Working with AJ was phenomenal. I love my headshots. They are definitely a big improvement over what I had before on my Linked In page, which was a shot of me in sunglasses from a long way away so that you couldn't really see my face.

The personal service the photographer AJ provides is simply outstanding. She took a lot of extra time in the session to make sure I was comfortable, telling me what she was doing, and showing me what the pictures looked like as she was taking them. I learned a lot! I also appreciated the fact that she made sure I had lots of opportunities to see what the images looked like as she was taking them. She took time to check in with me to show me the back of the camera and make sure that my images really looked like me. Then, after the session, instead of just sending over the proofs she took over 2 hours of personal time over Zoom with my wife and me, helping us choose my final images from our proofs. I've never had a photographer do that before. And it really helped us to not be overwhelmed by the process. Because there were so many good shots to choose from.

I feel like my new headshots really show me at my best. My wife says they really look like me. It is great to be able to post an image I'm really proud of to represent me and my business I will try to post a link to my linked in page so you can see the result. I couldn't be happier. As a fellow professional photographer, I think AJ has a great technical ability for portraits. But what really sets her apart from other photographers, and why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a headshot, is her amazing ability to make her subjects feel at ease in front of the camera.
