Every year a group of us go somewhere for Christmas party, this year we chose Stone House and it was a good choice! Fab food, attentive staff and a great atmosphere. Slight quibble with the wine and it was sorted. We will definitely book again. Thank you Stone House, can only recommend you as a first class venue :) More...

Stayed here over Easter. Old yet modern. Some rooms need modernising. But clean and well maintained. 3 course evening meal excellent. Breakfast great. Pleasant pool and sauna. Friendly staff. Nice touch to include Thorntons chocies and bottle of wine on arrival in room. Bar area comfortable with authentic original period decor. Within 40 minutes of Telford shopping Center. Lovely stay here would come again. Very good value for money. More...

Yes needs a bit of TLC to main exterior and internal bedroom no2 which had very squeeky floor boards which is due a refurb but still nice.
Hotel bar, seating, restaraunt &asparagus areas totally great. Three course meal out of this world with staff that couldn't do enough for you and who liked their jobs, very refreshing 12/10 overall, would stop again.
Just situated off main road but no road noise.
Well done

Old and new in one building. Some things do need touching up. But the rooms are excellent and clean. The 3 course Sunday menu is excellent value at £16 and drinks not that expensive for a hotel. Would recommend it and would return if in the area and needed somewhere to stay. Sorry must also add the cannot be more helpful. The young gent the bar was a very good asset the hotel. More...

Just held another of our car club racing season awards night (black tie dinner) at the Stone House Hotel and it was Excellent.
The function room suits our needs perfectly (around 80 guests) and the food was delicious with a great choice.
Nick, our event host, ran everything very smoothly and efficiently, catering for our every whim
The newly refurbished bedrooms are also great and excellent value
We’ve already booked for 2018 and 2019!

Having got married here back in 2000, thought it would be nice to return for my wife's birthday. We had an excellent wedding, with guests all commenting on what a lovely weekend it had been. Nearly 18 years later, pleased to find that the service and food was still as good as it was then! In fact the evening meal was positively delicious. Will definitely return, hopefully even an annual birthday treat! Lovely touch with birthday cake for dessert - (not ordered by me) so many thanks More...

Food was great and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The room was huge and looked like it had all new fixtures and fittings, inclusive of a nice rain shower. When you first arrive the area looks a bit industrial and tired, but it’s great once you get in. I stayed in a 5* london hotel the weekend before, and I have to say that the room in Stone House wipes the floor with it! More...

Pleasant small hotel in lovely kyle. Rooms are fairly small, but normal for the area. WiFi only in common areas downstairs. Incredibly friendly staff and conveniently located in the middle of town. Good choice as a hotel, and good restaurant. More...
