Steve was great from the enquiry stage all the way through the end of the project delivery.
My enquiry was for a few headshots for use for social media.
Steve was quick to respond, and very flexible in terms of location for the shoot and timings.
On the day, both myself and Steve were early, so had time to discuss what we wanted. From there, the process was simple.
Steve was clear with what he was aiming for in terms of photo composition, and showed me the photos often throughout the shoot so that I could see if they were what I was aiming for.
Receipt of the photos was in digital format, and once again, Steve was very quick in providing me access to these.
A very worthwhile experience - thank you Steve!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There's no question that top quality, professional level equipment provides a failsafe foundation but the real secret to capturing great images is empathy and awareness. Great photographs capture fleeting moments and a great photographer will anticipate and prepare to capture those precious moments.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
My main requirement is to understand what the potential client is hoping to achieve and how my skills and experience can help realise that vision and efficiently and effectively as possible.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with exciting people and helping them to capture their individuality and share it with the world. Each client is unique and it's up to me to work with them and bring their personality to the fore. It's a job but it's also a passion that can never become a chore. A wedding is not just a wedding to me, it's your wedding and I approach each wedding day with a fresh sense of excitement and wonder that's captured in the photography.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having spent 20 years working my way to the top level of management in a Welsh university I decided it was time to put my photography skills and my Master's degree in Business Administration to good use and start out on my own, doing something that I have a real passion for. Photographing rock stars onstage was my first big break in photography but, increasingly, I find myself drawn to photographing real people in real situations. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to photography you soon.
