I have had a really great time working with Steve, he has taught me so much in such a short time frame. My running ability has come on massively thanks to him. I’m really looking forward to what he will teach me next! Having recently hit a wall with my running I decided to join Steves 'run better' group to get help, guidance and to help me reset. Steve asked lots of questions to help find out what my struggles were then taught me excellent techniques to improve on this. My running has improved so much but so has my mindset. I look forward to working with Steve again the the future to continue this transformation. Thoroughly recommend working with Steve. He works with the ‘whole you’ to push and support you to achieve what sometimes feels impossible. In just a few weeks I felt more confident to try different exercises noticing the difference the smallest changes to routines seemed to make to how I felt. I started working with Steve at the beginning of January this year as I am planning to run my first marathon in May. In the space of the first 4-5 weeks I have knocked 2 minutes off my 5k times. I feel generally fitter, a bit more flexible and a lot better in my clothes. Had a couple of goals this year, run a half marathon for a charity I support. Get Parkrun to under 25mins. Steve's observations on movement, technique teaching (That works for you), how to focus the mindset helped greatly, it is April and goals achieved, time to find some new ones.

Steve recently wrote me a programme for my first marathon . We met beforehand and discussed it . We discussed how often I wanted to train , time I wanted to run and how the training would look. Steve also (as I was full of doubts I could actually do a marathon ) assured me I could and that my goal was achievable .Steve also met me and looked at my form giving me helpful tips and exercises . Steve then emailed me the plan a month at a time which was great as not too overwhelming . Steve was there throughout the 18 weeks to encourage me ,answer questions and support me . The programme stretched me and like every marathon plan was a real commitment but varied and realistic .I stuck to the plan like glue and ultimately achieved both completing the marathon and in the time I wished for . Before Christmas I began running but had to give up. Some years ago I broke my ankle and it hadn't felt 'right' since. I had attended physiotherapy but still my ankle didn't feel 'right'. The exercises Steve showed me to do has helped and now I am out running every other day, building strength and stamina. Thanks Steve - I now look forward to reaching my goal of running 5k. More...

I believe in order to achieve our fitness goals, we need to look at more than just the exercise we do. I look at diet, lifestyle and also help my clients get into the right mindset so that achieving their goals becomes so much easier

I love getting up in the morning and going to help people make a difference. Whether it's weight loss, feeling a positive difference, running better or simply growing in confidence, words can't describe the feeling when a client tells me they are feeling a massive difference since starting

I once ran a marathon after a period with back pain, achieving something I previously thought impossible for me. When I crossed the finish line, my thoughts were that if I could do it, anyone could do it and soon after, I quit my job, trained to become a PT and set up my own business to help inspire people to follow their dreams and achieve the things they previously thought impossible, just as I had done.

I have my own private studio where I have been able to help clients achieve greater results than I ever did when I was based in a gym. Whether it's weight loss, toning up or even running a marathon, I can offer my clients a flexible training plan that can be carried out anywhere even within the tightest of schedules without needing a gym membership. Anything IS possible :-)

Services

I coach people how to run and how to run better with my running groups and individual coaching. I have my Zero to 5k group which is designed for complete beginners and guides them to be able to run 5km comfortably in 5 weeks.

I also have a Run Faster group which works with runners already able to run 5km and helps them to be able to run better, and quicker, with a mix of technique-based drills and distance runs.

Running a Marathon? Whether you plan to run a 10k, Half or Full Marathon, I can design training plans for you

Metafit is a 30min workout that lasts for 24 hours! The class is a full body workout that boosts your metabolism so that you continue to burn calories up to 24 hours after the class has finished. It's suitable for all levels of fitness and variations of the exercises are provided where necessary so that you get the maximum benefit from the workouts.

I teach the classes in Perth on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6pm
