We have hired Steve Wastell twice now--once for my son's birthday party and once for mine. My son is just turning 32 and is Autistic. Not only is Steve's magic show fun and awesome, he is a warm and sensitive man. My son was so amazed, he followed Steve to the restaurant parking lot as he was leaving after his show. Zack asked Steve if he could make his Autism disappear. Steve paused and thoughtfully told Zack that "No, I can't. But even if I could, I wouldn't because I would not change anything about you. You are great just the way you are". I think that Steve's presence of mind and kindness speak volumes about him.

Hands down the best magician you will ever see. If you have seen him at the magic castle you will understand why his seats are always full and people stay for a 2nd or even 3rd show. He is HILLARIOUS and will keep you laughing the entire time. Definitely someone you want at your parties or events. He is the always the first magician I see at the castle. We loved having Steve! He was very flexible with our party. We had an intimate group of about 20. The show was originally supposed to be outdoors, but we had to bring it inside due to weather. Steve was super easy-going and set up and ready in no time!

We had a magical night at The Magical Castle thanks to Steve. His magic and showmanship by itself is fantastic, but on this particular night he helped me propose. While I must admit I was a little concerned that he might make the ring disappear rather than appear I could not have been any happier than when she opened her hand to find the ring (well, maybe when she actually said yes). He's fun and very entertaining, great with kids and bar girls and everything in between, and to be honest, some of it's a little spooky. Can't recommend highly enough.
