I have over 20 years experience in the Fitness Industry, he offers a unique and fun approach to getting fit.

I offer One 2 One Personal Training in the privacy of my own home, on Victoria Road in Harborne, in a purpose built studio, where i specialises in all aspects of Fitness and Nutrition including newcomers to exercise, Sport Specific Training, Strength, Stretching, Core, Pilates, Yoga, Sports Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation.

5star I’ve been seeing Steve since October 18. As a 64 year old I needed to tone up, improve my flexibility and balance. His 1-1 sessions are fun and he pushes within your capabilities, you don’t realise it at the time but each week you see yourself getting stronger and it’s lovely when others notice the changes in your figure and posture! After 3 years with a PT and not getting anywhere i decided it was time to move on and find a new one , this is when Steve was recommended to me. I was sceptical at first especially after it not working out with my previous PT , but it was the best decision i have ever made. In just 10 months i have lost nearly 4stone but not only that , i am fitter than ive ever been , i eat much better including breakfast which id skipped previously and also exercise regularly(thanks to steve i am slightly addicted lol) x More...

I've been to Steve's one to one training sessions for the past seven weeks. I'm fast approaching 60 and wanted to be more flexible, stronger , and to increase my general fitness levels. I have several issues, including a small hernia and a dodgy back, so generic gym sessions were not appropriate. Steve is careful to tailor what we do to my capabilities, is highly motivational , and gently pushes you to do things you didn't think you could doI now feel hardly any discomfort from the hernia , have a flatter stomach , and generally feel much better. Having been going to the gym on a regular basis for over 2 years...I only tend to run or power walk on the treadmill twice a week as well as the odd Body Pump class. ..I needed something more...something different and that's where Steve is just brilliant. The hour flies by (which HAS to mean I enjoy it even though it's hard work) and it is fab to be outside in the fresh air too, can't wait for my next session (this afternoon!). after years of trying to find the motivation and confidence of getting up and going for a run or doing some sort of exercise I can finally say that I am able to do that and it's all thanks to Steve. He has really empowered me to look after myself and focus on other aspects of living a healthy lifestyle such as eating, drinking and exercising. he makes goals and techniques personal to each individual and also makes each session fun and motivating but also pushes you enough to make you realise what you are really capable of, which is amazing because never would I have thought that I would go for a run and ENJOY it! he has really lifted my confidence and belief in myself and what I can do, seeing Steve is the best choice you can make if you need help in making changes in your life, permanently. not only does he help you make physical changes to your body but he also helps you build a strength, mentally. I'm 52 years of age and started with Steve Travers over 6 months ago. At this time I could not even walk upstairs without getting out of breath. Our first session was so tough but Steve is such an inspirational person who motivated me every inch of the way. Every week I look forward to our session, each week we do something different and I get stronger and fitter. We have so much fun, we have loads of laughs and I would recommend him to anyone. Had my first consultation and workout session with PT Steve today. I felt his immediate warmth and knew this was a good choice the moment I met him. His approach was very holistic and tailored to my specific needs. I Ioved the variation of indoors and outdoors exercise as I can easily get bored. Steve was most encouraging but he also challenged me which was what I needed even though I felt like I was going to colllapse at one point Steve is very safe and knows the limits of an individual so I wasn't concerned. It's taken me a long time to make this step as I have realised at the age of 47 my body needs paradoxical brutal love and attention not to mention all the health benefits that go with exercising. One to one training keeps me motivated and feels less intimidating than a group class and comparing bodies with others. This is my body which I have decided to devote my time to and actually invest in myself for once. Can't wait for my next session More...

Taken a massive leap today with Steve Travers personal trainer.
