We are from Las Vegas, Nevada and love Montreal Canada so much that we decided to get married at the Hotel William Gray. Our beautiful wedding was on the 8th Floor Terrasse William Gray in September 2019. We had 90 people join us for our special wedding weekend. We knew when we decided to get married that we had to hire the best photographer in Montreal. We decided that Steve Gerrard Photography was the one! Steve took the lead of making sure that every detail was discussed and met from the early stages of planning to the day of the wedding. What an absolutely amazing wedding!! So many of our friends and family have told us “that was the BEST WEDDING I have ever been to”. Steve Gerrard was incredibly detailed and talented. Steve made the experience of planning a wedding out of the country effortless. He was professional and amazing throughout the entire wedding from start to finish. Steve is an amazing photographer absolutely worth the cost! We LOVE our wedding photos. Working with him is a pleasure. He has a way of capturing the little moments of the day, with true emotion in the photos, without making anyone feel uncomfortable with his presence. Looking at our wedding photos truely brings back the emotions of the day. He is also quite skilled at posed portraits. We turned to him after our original photographer gave us terrible photos from our engagement shoot, so I can honestly say not all photographers do a good job but if you go with Steve you will definitely be thrilled with the end products! My girlfriend and I flew to Montreal from Los Angeles for a getaway. What she didn’t know was that I planned to propose to her while we were in Montréal at the old port. I wanted to hire a photographer to capture this surprise proposal. From the moment I made contact with Steve I felt at ease. He was amazing and his communication was excellent!! He even gave me several pointers on places to propose, and the pros and cons with each location. I had never been to Montreal before and the city is gorgeous. Steve was on time and hidden away to capture our proposal and the whole thing went off amazing! Steve then took us on a walking tour and we were able to do an engagement shoot. Before he was a photographer (and he was never a footballer) Steve Gerrard was travelling the world as an international DJ. This might not seem important but I think it shows in his experience and versatility as a photographer.steve's photos range from live shows to portraits to weddings and he is equally adept in all arenas. You wouldn't normally think of the guy who just shot your wedding to be the guy who could shoot Kiss at an arena show but Steve manages to do it all equally well. He has photographed a couple of my friends weddings and they were all photo albums I actually didn't mind looking at!Check out his website if you need more convincing, or pop in to his studio in the Custard Factory. Not to be confused with the Liverpool player this Steve Gerrard is one of Birmingham's most prolific photographers you can often see him taking photographs of bands in the larger sized music venues of this city. His studio is located in the Custard Factory facing the pool. If you're not familiar with his work he has some prime examples hanging in the window.As well as band photos which are in both portrait and live formats he also specialises in wedding photography. Steve has done the wedding pictures for two couples I know from Birmingham who had their ceremonies in America, one in New York and one in Las Vegas. He is also available for family portraits. Prices range from £50 for shooting a live gig to £2000 unlimited wedding coverage. Check out his website for more details or pop into the studio and ask as Steve is an affable sort of chap. Steve Gerrard's studio is handily situated overlooking the occasionally full / occasionally empty pool at the Custard Factory. With floor to ceiling windows, you can peer in and see examples of his work even when he's off shooting weddings or bands. If he IS there, it's worth popping your head in to say hello as he's a friendly chap and will show you lots more examples of his brilliant photography. More...
