our door lock has been dodgy for years now but with a bit of "gentle persuation" its been ok, until today when we locked the door but could not get back in the house. went to Sterons to ask for help and they had a locksmith out and about doing jobs. Je was asked to go to my home and within the time it took me to return home he was waiting for me to arrive. The locksmith opened my door after checking my ID. I decided to get a new lock fitted at the same time and oh how silky smooth the lock works now. all in all it was anout 12 minutes work in total but such a superb job. Absolutely fantastic service, I’m a letting agent, I received a call from a tenant at 1.15 am today informing me there had been a break in at the property and new locks were needed as the property was insecure. I called several large companies with call centres who could not help. However Steron took my call at 2am, attended within 30 minutes, contacted me once on site to advise, carried out the works agreed to a high standard & forwarded photographs from Site to prove works done. Fantastic service from Steron, on arriving home from holiday we had been broken into, at 2am in the morning trying to find a locksmith from yellow pages was proving difficult and or expensive, a friend gave me a number for these guys, gave them a call, and these were at my property within 1 hour, the gentleman who attended, called John, was very polite and professional, even after calling him from his bed, he discussed in detail our needs and gave us a very competitive price to secure our property, it was less than half of what we had been quoted in some cases, and there was no call out fee either, we agreed there and then , and he set to work , unfortunately having arrived home in the early hours we didn't have ready cash available, I did off at to go to a mini bank, but John said it's no problem, I understand you will be tired and need to go to your bed safety and sure,pay me tomorrow, he was done in double quick time, and left us safe and sound , as we have been since, can't praise these guys enough and have recommended Steron to all my friends and family, keep up the good work chaps

What do you love most about your job?
We really enjoy helping people protect their property. Something else we enjoy is helping those that are unable to access their home, business or vehicle gain entry. Most of all we enjoy just helping our customers in any way we can.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We formed in 1999, as a joinery & Locksmith company (my father Ron was a joiner & Stephen is a locksmith) hence Steron. As we grew John joined the company (son & brother in law)
When Ron retired Stephen and John dropped the joinery and solely concentrated on the locksmith side of the business.
