Skip the Bruschetta, it's just huge chunk of bread with a diced tomato and four stilks of rucola.
Pizza was excellent! The pasta was dissapointing.
Absolutely delicious food great service staff are lovely. Can't wait till my next visit x
The pizza is amazing! Make sure you eat here when Eliana is 'on duty'. She's the nicest, friendliest waitress in Dublin! She'll even remember your favourite dish!!! Five stars! More...

Lovely fresh food served by delightful staff - a very welcome addition to our neighbourhood - we look forward to our return visit.
Had a lovely quiet family lunch here on Sunday - everyone was very happy and the Aperol was SO good I HAD to have 2! Lovely friendly service and very pleasant decor - a welcome addition to the area!
The food is so good and reasonably priced. The staff are most kind and helpful. Love it
Great night. Love the place and the chef Alberto did very well on plates not easy to prepare (game)

Beautiful fresh lunch of 2 courses with a glass of vino only €10.90.
Great atmosphere and service.
We came back in the evening for espresso on the little heated terrace outside.
I'll be back for sure.
LOVED it ... More...
We are moving just down the road so decided to try this place out. Really enjoyed the food and it's a lovely little restaurant on the inside!
Had a very enjoyable meal on opening night. A few teething problems only to be expected with a full house. Easily ironed out when everyone settles in. Very welcome addition to the area. These neighbours will be back ! More...
A treasure to have this in my neighborhood. Great food great staff and atmosphere
The food was beautiful. Cooked to perfection! Delivered to the table in a quick time period. Service was excellent. Even the wine was delicious. Extremely good value lunch deal too. I'll definitely be back to Steps of Rome! More...
once opoun a time the best pizza in Dublin without doubt.
never have choice of slices, especially veggie opt, and dont seem to care.
tried again recently for a sit down meal and had to leave after ten minutes. it was a quiet evening midweek but nothing was left on menu.
plus is it just me or does anybody else find it weird that they have never taken any cards? its cash only. for a slice to go thats fine but when you want to sit down and maybe get wine its just dumb.
as i say once it was a must now i'll pass.
pity really. More...
We attended the open evening yesterday the food was fantastic . It cost €10, for an endless supply of authentic Italian food and a glass of your choosing. If you weren't there you definitely missed out. Lovely friendly staff and they are very child friendly. More...
Myself and there friends had a lovely meal here last night, we all had different dishes and we enjoyed every morsel. The price was excellent and the staff friendly.
Only complaint is that is so small each time the door opened you felt the cold breeze coming in. I would revisit The Steps Of Rome. More...

Absolutely disgraceful. On your menu it says 'Pizza al taglio' can be eat in. Then when my friend tried to order it you said for take away only. And you have it on display as people come in. Why advertise food in the menu, and show it to the customer when you won't let the customer buy it? More...
Amazing! The food here is so delicious. Authentic Italian food - the flavours are just amazing. The service was also good and the owners and staff were really kind and helpful. It's an absolute gem and well worth a visit. More...
So we decided to give this place another shot after the mix up the last time we tried to order, we were so hoping we would love it but we regret giving it another chance.
Firstly, we rang last week to confirm that we were ok to pick our own ingredients for our pizza if we wrote what we wanted in the comments section, seeing as the menu does not tell you what was on their vegetable pizza we figured this was our best bet. A while later we received 2 pizzas, both the exact same, and both were not what we had asked for, I am presuming these are the standard toppings on their vegetable pizza. Clearly they did not look at the additional information included with our order, what if we had mentioned an allergy? would it have still went unnoticed? I will say we spoke to a lovely woman who apologized and said they would send out the pizzas minus the ingredients they don't have. So again we began our wait.
Another half hour goes by and our pizzas arrive. They were cold. Also they included regular onion rather than red onion as had been requested and we weren't told they didn't have it. It was barely mediocre. We buy prepackaged pizza bases and make our own and they taste better than this.
We only ordered one drink between the two of us, as it again does not say on the menu the size of the drink we could only presume for €4.30 it would be a large bottle. Nope. €4.30 for a 500ml bottle of 7up, meaning they are charging €8.60 a litre!!! pure robbery. It also has clearly never seen the inside of a fridge and is still sat in our freezer now.
All in all we have had two bad experiences now, and unfortunately we will not be ordering again. It's a shame because we love pizza and definitely would have been regulars if the food had been better. More...
An Italian institution in Dublin. 5 stars on all fronts, the food, service and value. Recently ordered some pizza trays for a birthday party. Carmen and Fabio were a joy to deal with from day one and the pizzas themselves were a hit with all at the party. Will definitely order again for future functions. By far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Dublin. More...
