Stepping Stones Intervention Services

I reached out 3 weeks ago for a consultation for my son. I gave them all of my information and still have not received a call back. Even with that, I am really basing my review off of the treatment from the front office staff. The customer service just was not there. You would think if I'm trying to give you all of the possible relevant information you might need for intake, you would take it. I've been trying to find an in-network therapist for my son for a few months, and because of his psychiatric evaluation and approvals process, I'm fully aware of what will make the intake process easier. Additionally, I asked if a specific therapist (Mr. Jones) was available, before taking my info - making it clear I did not want to waste time. She said yes, but then proceeds to tell me that I'll more than likely have to have my son see someone else b/c of Mr. Jones lack of availability. I was attempting to use the services here for my son however, the first red flag was when I called to set up an appointment and after giving all relevant information, it took them an entire week to call me back. Upon receiving a call from Willie Jones, he informed me that he decided to reach out to my sons father for permission to see my son although his fathers information was NOWHERE on the intake information. Yes, my son has gone there for different sessions with his father however, I was taking him for something completely different. It’s unfortunate and amazing that Mr. Jones didn’t think to respect my privacy or even call me to see the purpose of me bringing my son. It didn’t even cross his mind that maybe, just maybe, the purpose of me bringing my son was because of issues with his father who (as I stated previously) Mr. Jones decided to call for permission. I am so grateful for this team of professionals! My son, with all of his medical complexity, is able to thrive in PT, OT and Speech therapy in such a short time. For most parents who have children with exceptional needs, we share an understanding, a desire, and sometimes an anxiety when it comes to finding superior services for our babies. So when I found Stepping Stones Intervention Services, I was skeptical. I am so pleased to say that they have gone above and beyond my expectations. Stepping Stones Intervention Services have provided awesome interventions for my son. He receives O.T. and in this short year, I have seen a great improvement He has mastered ALL of his goals and are creating new ones. I am so pleased with Stepping Stones Intervention Services.
