I have been working with children, young people and their families for over 10 years and have been working with private clients since 2012. I have a particular interest in working to support those experiencing bereavement and loss.
When working with younger children I will use play-based therapy to enable them to work through their feelings using non-verbal communication and metaphor.

What do you love most about your job?
It is hugely rewarding to enable clients, particularly children, to develop the strategies and skills they need to facilitate change in their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in a clinical role in a regional charity for many years, promotion to a more strategic development role left me with very little client contact. I decided to set up my private practice to enable me to continue to develop my counselling skills and support more children, young people and their families.
