Best thing to happen to me in long time. I was slated to have major back surgery. Was taking so many pain medications. Been with the studio for almost 3 years now. Only use the medications as needed & no surgery. Love this place!!! More...

I wanted to learn ballroom dance ever since I was little, but it never happened. Thanks to Roxanne, today I finally had my first class. I love this place!Everyone is so nice and helpful. The class schedule is flexible and fits my hours. They also have different programs to help students at different levels. I felt more confident already after only one class. Love this place!  Anyone ever curious about ballroom dancing should come here!  Over 2 years ago I knew nothing about ballroom. I was curious walked in met Chris and Angela n the rest is history with lots of fun, laughs, learning,  and most of all dancing.  Everyone is friendly! I've made some really good pals here and after a long day this place sure turns your frown upside down! Never thought I'd do a performance in a showcase let alone compete! My review isn't to add on to the already terrific testimonials for their dancing services. We happened to rent this place for a 50th birthday party. We had a party of around 70 but the place can accommodate 110.  Place worked out fabulous and just to help your search they were the most economical for what we needed. There should be more positive reviews for this studio! My fiance and I live 40 minutes from Steppin Out Ballroom Dance  - with such an investment for private lessons, I was a little nervous.  There was no need to be!  A couple friends of ours had recommended the team because of the private lessons they had for their wedding dance.  We just finished private lesson two (for a crash course before our wedding) and my fiance (who is not a natural dancer and couldn't follow the beat before our first class) is looking great! Thanks to Chris - he is a fantastic teacher, patient and really was able to get into my fiance's head to help him pick up the moves.  Great clean space.  The team is fun, kind and  professional and I highly recommend! My husband and I went to Steppin Out Ballroom for dance lessons for our wedding. We both absolutely loved it and had so much fun! Chris and Angela were wonderful teachers, they taught us to be comfortable and confident when we got out there to do our first dance. We even learned the salsa and rumba so that we could go dancing on our honeymoon! Steppin Out Ballroom made our wedding day even more special and taught us dances that we still use to this day. I recently had an event here and it was an amazing experience. The staff was really helpful and even though they change locations after booking my event, they did everything they could to make the transition smooth. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for elegance mixed with fun. The location has two accessible restrooms which was nice since we had a large event. Steppin Out Ballroom is one of my favorite places to escape too after a long day at work or school. My husband and I have found the instructors Chris and Angela to be a professional couple who is passionate about their art, incredibly patient, and who always deliver warmth and humor in every class.

I enrolled my daughter in the teen dance class.  The class  is very small and the other kids are friendly so she is fitting in we'll and having a great time.  The instructor is really good with the kids - he uses humor and firmness to control them when they get distracted and I've never seen him lose patience.  When he corrects them they don't feel corrected - a skill I wish I had dealing with people.  As a result my daughter is enjoying it more and more.  She has a lot of dance experience and has run into a lot of the cliquish ness and Dance Mom nonsense before.  So far none of that here.I've watched other instructors too -  a young man who is friendly and fun,and whom the kids clearly enjoy,  and a dark haired woman who is elegant and seems serious, and who  taught some very young children patiently and encouragingly.  I've noticed that the other employees  - or maybe some are owners, I don't know everyone yet - all seem friendly, helpful and encouraging.I may even take some lessons myself - normally I feel too self-conscious but here I feel welcome. I'm a newcomer, but my experience so far is a five. More...
