Great place for all sorts of functions. My visit was for a fund raising event for Overgate Hospice in Elland. I was told there was 300 people there & the bar & food service was very good for such a large number.

We were greeted with a drink and as we were the first there so sat at the front table near the dance floor for optimum people watching, the magician came to see us and he was fantastic, then the worst circus act came on it was that bad it was good, the D. J played brilliant music for a while then the worst but best circus act came back on, as this was happening small servings of food were delivered to the table the quality was excellent but as i pointed out to someone at the bar our table did get missed with these nibbles as other tables got thirds and fourths as in a flash the owner was at our table to apologise and offered free drinks we declined but 1 came anyways bless her, the live band came on about 10ish they were fantastic then there was food served at a stall chilli hotdogs these were awesome and filled my empty fat belly, the band were on until 11.50pm and the countdown came with the DJ and again he was good just after 12am bacon butties were served and these were also delish we left at 1am and as a group we said we would be back next year or this year if you want to look at it this way in all £45.00 each for a night like this was good value and looking back wish id kept my mouth shut about the grub as i would have happily paid £45 just to see the live band.

just to add they did not overfill it with people so the bar was always approachable and this was nice touch and the bar manager was really good at her job
