Yesterday I had my regular six-month cleaning, plus some standard x-rays taken. Strange as it sounds, it's always a pleasure to go in to Dr. Coates' office. My hygienist, Jen, is wonderful - I can't speak highly enough to her professionalism, which is allied to warmth and wit that make the entire process comfortable. Additionally, Dr. Coates always stops by to ensure that everything is in order and to suggest additional treatment that would be beneficial - without, however, ever requiring it. I had a sudden scheduling conflict and called, after the office was closed, the day before my 11AM appointment. They called me back first thing in the morning of my appointment and was able to reschedule my appointment for 9AM. As always the Doctor's team was wonderful.

As a first time patient, I had the most thorough dental exam I have ever experienced in my life. I then had my follow up with Dr. Coates and was presented with a very detailed outline on what I needed to do to have healthy teeth and gums. First Dr. Coates explained everything and took the time to go through all of my x-rays and pictures that were taken. Then Maria came into the office to see of I had any questions and to go over the process with me. As a patient, you will feel that your best interest is what is priority which is very refreshing. When Dr. Coates took over Dr. Tylicki's practice, I was immediately struck by Dr. Coates' affability and - let's say - bedside manner. He has consistently demonstrated a very high degree of skill/artistry in his work and also the ability to put me - and I easily assume ALL patients - at ease as he proceeds with whatever procedure he may be performing. Simply stated, he's first-rate both professionally and personally - and as an added bonus, his office staff is also first-class. I feel that my fifty years as a patient of both Dr. Tylicki and Dr. Coates has been a real blessing.
