Stella's Pizza Pie and Fine Italian Catering

We chose Stella's as our caterer for our wedding last month and wouldn't have changed a thing! My husband and I bonded early in our relationship over pizza and beer and loved that it could be a part of our special day. Our guests were raving about the crab mushrooms, olive and goat cheese dip, the strawberry salad and the BBQ chicken and the Fig Fantastico pizza's! Their pizza dough dessert balls are also so unique and beat any traditional cake dessert! Amy and the whole Stella family was such a joy to work with and immediately welcomed us with open arms. They even were willing to accommodate our guests with gluten free allergies! We are forever grateful for Stella's and will continue recommending them to any couple in the San Diego area. Stella’s pizza pie was one of those vendors that we booked a year in advance of our wedding and it made us wish our wedding was sooner! Vito, Amy and Gina are all absolutely fantastic to work with. They let us do a full tasting of pretty much anything we wanted on the menu. Their pricing is very budget-friendly and our guests absolutely RAVED about the food! We did the passed appetizers during cocktail hour, salad and pizza. My only regret was not eating more myself! I hope to have another event in the future where I can hire them because we just absolutely loved it! More...

Being a same sex couple, I first want to say that Stella's is LGBT friendly. My wife and I chose Stella's to cater our wedding because we thought having gourmet brick oven pizza at our wedding would be really cool. And it was really cool. It was amazing. My favorite was the Cherry Bomb, and many other people liked that one too. We also got the California tasting platter for the cocktail hour. Everyone absolutely loved it.

We chose Stella's not only because their food was so good, but because the service and our entire experience with their family was really outstanding. We started with tasting their pizza and appetizers at their family home where Gina served us their menu items, many of them with a lovely story about the part the recipes have in the history of their family. Lovely lovely people. We had so much fun with them.

At the wedding everyone loved the food, and said the presentation was beautiful. Vito came over and delivered us some pizza specially, and everything went off without a hitch.

If you're thinking about Stella's for your catering, definitely, definitely do it! Thank you so much Stella's! We look forward to future events with you! More...

I had the privilege of discussing my concerns with the owner of the company. He called me directly and we addressed everything in detail and he's done what he can to make it right. This pizza is beyond amazing. They catered a Halloween Party. And, they brought a very impressive pizza stove,  so they just are just pumping out hot, fresh, gourmet pizza nonstop. The crust is delicious like fresh baked bread hot out of the oven. It is amazing. And, they have many fancy toppings that bring their pizza to another level! so fresh! I happened across them in an unexpected way, on the 405 freeway. I saw them towing their pizza oven on the freeway and made a note to look them up when I got home. I'm so glad I did!

They arrived in plenty of time and got set up. We opted for the pizza and salad option, and we had four different delicious pizzas served to our guests. Everyone RAVED about the food! The pizzas we chose were The Pizza Garden, The Green Goddess, The Volcano and The Fig Fantastico. Every single one was delicious, but the fig stands out as the most exceptional & was my personal favorite.

They also were awesome in accommodating my request for some of the pizzas to be gluten free and also made some without cheese for our vegan friends.

The service was exceptional and everyone was friendly and awesome! Hiring Stella's for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. More...
