We had our wedding at Stein Farms on September 14th of this year. The venue is absolutely beautiful and there were so many things we loved about it. Everything had so much character and stands out from other venues such as the lodge, barn, Oak Island (ceremony location), wedding parlor, and the house we stayed in with our wedding party. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue was.Clem was also very accommodating and made sure our guests felt welcomed. The reason I deducted a star, was for communication. At first, Clem was good at responding to emails, however, as time got closer to the wedding, we would have to send multiple emails or call/text him to receive a response. During and after the wedding weekend, the way he communicated with us could have been better. Specifically, around the alcohol use, we didn't appreciate how he approached us about a particular situation. After the wedding, Clem also never responded to our multiple attempts to contact him about a refund he said he would send us. Overall, if communication was better, this would easily be a 5 star review. More...

This place was amazing! When my husband and I looked at it 2 years ago, we fell in love with it. We got married there 3 weeks ago and had the time of our lives. It’s such a unique place to have a wedding. There is so much space to utilize. We had our wedding ceremony on the island, our dinner was in the barn, the bar and buffet were set up in the lodge area and we did our dancing out in the beer garden. It was amazing!!! Our guests had a blast and couldn’t stop raving about it. I would highly recommend this place for your wedding! One thing to keep in mind if you have your ceremony on the island is to have something for your guests to get to and from the parking/reception area. Where the guests park is a pretty good distance from the ceremony site. My husband and I had a tractor and trailer people got to ride on to get back and forth and let me tell you, it was appreciated and some people said it was the best part! HAHA Loved loved loved this place and would do our wedding over in a heart beat. We had so much fun!! More...

I had my wedding here in September and it was the best venue I could have ever imagined to have my big day. The entire property is GORGEOUS. The house we rented was also amazing! The owner of the entire venue, Clem Stein, was awesome to work with. He was very very helpful with vendors, any questions we had and was there the day of the wedding driving down older guests to the island where we had our ceremony. He was very professional and super kind all around — to everyone he talked to! I would highly recommend this location for your wedding! ITS PERFECT !!!! More...

Just got married here. The experience was amazing. Clem and his staff are amazing they go out of there way to make your experience stress free and beautiful. They give you days to set up. The property, barn, island, bar, and house are beautiful. Best part you dont have to go anywhere afterwards and dont have to worry about cleaning until the next day!
