Stayed here 4 nights. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have social night and cook dinner. Very nice for those of us who are out working for weeks on end. Rooms are fantastic. The water has a weird smell but it's not the hotels fault. It's that way everywhere in Tyler Texas. This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in "spur of the moment"!!!!Thanks fellow Yelp Elites for your trusted reviews in guiding me to this Staybridge! This hotel is a bit off the Highway 20, but oh so worth it! I have major hotel anxiety and this place was crisp, clean, newly remodeled, perfect and great offerings here, especially with the breakfast.  EVERYTHING WAS TOP NOTCHThe only complaint I have, is that I didn't get to stay long enough. Nice clean hotel. We stayed on first floor. You could hear constant heavy walking from floor above us. We had two bed, two bath suite. One room had king bed that was noisy and extremely uncomfortable. The other bedroom had two double size beds. My kids said those were fairly comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Overall it was a good stay, with a few issues.Service:  They really excel here.  Very friendly and helpful.  No issues at all. Rooms:  Comfortable and nice.  The suites are particularly good.  Air works well, and I didn't have any noise issues.Cleaning:  This is the issue area.  There was heavy dust over many surfaces.  Picture frames, mirrors etc were VERY dusty.  Carpets need cleaning more often (stains).  Daily cleaning was forgetful and areas were missed.  They really need to do a better job with the room cleaning.  More training and certainly oversight would be helpful. This was a great place to stay. The accommodations are very welcoming and it feels like a home away from home. I really appreciate the details, like the full size bath products in the shower, the fresh towels, clean dishes and cleaning supplies. Even though I was only there for a night, I can see staying there for an extended stay to get some work done. The staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. The breakfast was also a nice spread of eggs, biscuits, bacon, sausage and gravy with the yogurt, oatmeal and fruit options for light eaters. I enjoyed my stay and would consider going back. More...

I've stayed at this Staybridge 6x over the past year and a half.  Because I drove from Houston to Tyler quarterly and have stayed here so many times I can say that they are consistent in their hospitality.  It's clean, the staff are friendly, and there's free breakfast!  I couldn't ask for a better place to stay.  Jeff the manager is personable and accommodating.  My last stay there, I booked a double bed room. When we got to the room it was a single bed.  I called downstairs to tell them the situation and they quickly corrected it by giving me another single bed room free of charge. More...

This place has the best staff ever. Housekeeping staff is friendly. The front desk staff is also friendly and would go way out of their way to fulfill your request. One time I wanted to surprise my friend on her birthday with mimosa. The didn't have orange juice so they went out and bought some for me. The other time I realized my room was scheduled to be cleaned and it wasn't (mistake happened), the manager came clean my room themselves. I traveled for work and I stayed this place for close to 2 months. Did not have much issue, and did not have a single issue that was not promptly taken care off. I had probably the best experience I've ever had at a hotel when I stayed here. I was in a bad car accident the first night after I checked in and had to go to the ER. When I finally finished at the hospital in the middle of the night, the GM picked me up from the hospital, and he and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to take care of me. I was traveling for work and knew no one in Tyler, but they showed kindness and made me feel so much better when I was scared and on my own. Everything was great! One of the best hotels I have stayed at. They were able to get us in the room an hour early so that was great. The room was very clean, very modern, nice kitchenette, rotating TV, nice couch. The buffet breakfast was great! They had a lot of variety. The outside lounge area was very nice. It was nice to sit out there and relax. The only bad thing is that our bathroom sink would take awhile to drain. Also I was charged more than what my Expedia said but since it wasn't a big difference and they got us in early I didn't complain. And another bad thing is that the breakfast area was also the lovy so there weren't many tables to sit at. We were having to stand around until an open table was available. There was seating outside but since it had just stormed the day before everything was ver and it was very humid. Had it not been for those bad things I would have given five stars. Overall it was a very nice hotel and would definitely stay again if I had the change. Hopefully they'll be more tables by then. More...

Overall this was a great hotel for the price. Nice rooms, spacious. Loved that there was a couch and rotating tv. Didn't have to always sit on bed. Perfect, kitchen. Full hot breakfast with lots of options and nice patio. Will absolutely look for this hotel again. Free laundry, 24\7 pantry with meals and snacks...and staff was very nice. Highly recommended for a budget hotel, because it was anything but budget service. If I have to find a negative it would be that if you are looking specifically for a nice pool, this won't work, unless you have toddlers, then it may be perfect. More...

For my family of 6, it was perfect. The rooms were nice with a kitchenette so we didn't have to spend any more on dining out. We had the 1 bedroom but it also had a separate living area with couch. 2 televisions! The indoor pool was the seller. For our mini vacation I wanted the kids to get to swim and it's too cold for outdoor swimming. The hot tub was an enjoyable, relaxing way to end the evening after walking for hours at the zoo. We decided to stay at the Staybridge Suites in Tyler recently when visiting family. Our suite was beautiful, and the service was great. The hotel is just lovely. There's a pretty fireplace near the entrance and a nice lounge that's a perfect for relaxing in. Outside there's a patio with a large flatscreen to watch the game and a beautiful fire pit. There's a business center to the right of the lounge and a "Pantry" with snacks, sodas, and even some sundries. Our suite was wonderful. We had a great little kitchen. It was so nice to have a microwave, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The living room was small but really cute. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean with lots of fresh towels and some fun bath products. Our room had a wonderful view of the patio and fire pit outside. What's also really nice about the Staybridge is their gym, laundry room, and business center. The breakfast in the morning is supposed to be great here (okay, I overslept, but my husband brought us some delicious muffins). Service was good here. Although we missed our "light cleaning", the front office staff loaded us up with lots of fresh towels and shampoo when we came back to the hotel after dinner. The employee at the front desk also gave us some great recommendations for lunch and dinner the next day. We really had a great stay here. The Staybridge Suites felt like a home away from home. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to my room and discovered the apartment-style floor plan. This room is excellent! It makes you feel right at home. It has everything you need - full sized fridge, stove, toaster, microwave, dish washer, laundry basket, and plenty of storage options for your stuff. I was staying here for 2 weeks and I'm glad I wound up in this place instead of a regular hotel.In general, this hotel has a very laid back atmosphere. Staff seemed friendly. I didn't normally eat the breakfast but what I tried was good. I recommend the omelettes. Coffee seemed ok.All in all this was a great stay - I was almost sad to leave! In the future when I have the opportunity to pick where I'm going to stay I am definitely going to shoot for Staybridge! More...

Our favorite place to stay in Tyler! Great, comfortable rooms, best front desk and breakfast staff ever!  Best bed pillows, great full sized frig and comfortable, quiet accommodations.  Breakfast options are always fully stocked and restocked so nothing runs out.  Well maintained hotel and in the perfect location for us!  Looking forward to our next stay!
