From the moment I visited the venue I knew this was the place for me! Everyone was just brilliant and responded back to me within 2hours, nothing was too much trouble and they knew exactly what I wanted. On the day they set everything up just how I wanted it and ensured everything ran smoothly, I couldn't have asked for a better day. We instantly fell in love with Cripps Barn and the love story continues even after our wedding.The barn and setting itself is beautiful and the food and drink were unbelievable. We married in October and I still have people telling me how impressed they were with the food. The staff also deserve a special mention - the staff throughout the planning process and the day were exceptional and really couldn’t have helped us more! They were so patient with our many many questions and requests and nothing was ever too much trouble! The first time we visited Cripps Barn, we knew right away that it was the venue we wanted for our wedding. The grounds and building are both stunning - we had our ceremony in the glade and it was picturesque! All of the staff were so helpful and friendly throughout the process and they were always prompt to respond to any queries we had. The online portal was really useful to keep a track of our booking too!On the day, James (our front of house manager) was nothing short of amazing! He was on top of absolutely everything, leaving us worry free and able to enjoy the day. The food, the decor and the venue itself were all perfect and we had so many comments from guests who were extremely impressed.They really made us feel like royalty for the day and we couldn't be more grateful! From start to finish Cripps Barn in Bibury was fantastic. Such an amazing venue and the staff were fantastic. We held our daughter’s wedding there yesterday and despite the terrible weather outside, we had a wonderful time. The venue has a very relaxing vibe and the two main rooms really flow together. If you opt for the inside and outside decorations you don’t really need much else apart from table decorations. We used one of their recommended discos and photo booth companies and they were both excellent. The food was delicious and we were really glad we chose to have canapés as it filled a gap between the ceremony and the main meal. Our evening buffet of cheese, bread, crackers, grapes and chutneys went down a storm with our guests too. I cannot recommend Cripps Barn highly enough More...

The photos on the website show how beautiful this venue is, but it’s even more stunning in person. We fell in love with it immediately and booked it almost right away. We couldn’t wait to have our wedding day at such an incredible location. But what made our day so exceptional was the staff. They were helpful, organised and friendly. The whole day went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, just enjoy our day. All of our guests raved about the food, which we agree was delicious! I don't think I can put into words how amazing this venue was for us. They were flexible, attentive and so so friendly. The amount of compliments we had regarding the food, the venue was outstanding. They made sure we had everything we wanted. The feast nights itself will seal the deal for you as it will demonstrate the incredible food that is on offer. Absolutely perfect! It rained on my wedding day, but you could hardly notice and it didn't change anything! I put wellies on and the staff were brilliant. The team were so helpful, especially Jodie in the evening, who offered to hold my drinks whilst I posed for photos and put my wedding trainers back on. She also made sure that everyone was happy and was brilliant. Lucy was brilliant in the day time too, always smiling and keeping everything flowing. The location is perfect and it was so romantic. Cripps Barn was love at first sight. We were lucky enough to have the right weather to get married in the beautiful glade, and had a brilliant day! Our guests all raved about the venue and how brilliant the food was. Our photographers also said it was one of the most beautiful venues they've been to. None of them had been to an outdoor wedding and it was a beautiful experience for all. Jodie our day manager was incredible- so organised, made the day seamless and also just generally really lovely. Both our parents loved her! James our night manager was great fun and answered any questions. All of the staff were very friendly, and also came to us (the bride and groom) first with the canopies every time, so we never starved! Our guests with kids felt like they were completely safe at all times because the venue has lovely outdoor areas and plenty of places to sit too. The venue lent itself to our style of wedding perfectly. We were able to really bring our own print into the already stunning space. It is so romantic during the day, especially with the added flower options. Which just brings the barn to life further. We continually had people telling us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We already knew this due to the feast night. We got married in July 2019 – it was the most perfect day and best day of our lives. We always dreamt of having our wedding in the Cotswolds, with a church service followed by the reception in a Cotswold Barn. When looking at venue options almost two years ago, we looked at so many barns but as soon as we visited Cripps, we fell in love with the place. Many of the barns we looked at were purpose built wedding venues so although ‘barn-like’, they lacked the rustic feel. Cripps Barn was originally a barn so has so much character and makes it a very special venue. In 2019, out of all the Barns we visited, Cripps Barn seemed to have the most weddings booked in – we sensed there would be a good reason for this!If you haven’t visited Cripps, it is worth a visit! As soon as you arrive, you drive down the long drive way and then you will immediately see the Barn with the beautiful gardens and fields surrounding it. The garden is immaculate with many of our keen gardening guests commenting on how well kept the garden is. On entry to the Barn, you will see the two main rooms, which look amazing. As well as picking the right barn for our wedding day, we were also looking for somewhere where they have the people, systems and processes in place to ensure planning our big day would be as smooth as possible. Since our initial planning meeting ten months ago, up to and including the wedding day itself, I can honestly say the support has been incredible. All conversations are logged on their internal portal to ensure nothing gets missed. The Cripps team often responded the same day, but always within two days at most. Every reply always ended with ‘anything else we can support you with/do you have any more questions’. No question was too large or small.The whole Cripps team is brilliant too. They’re experts in the field and we always felt in great hands. They are all so happy to help and you can tell they enjoy the work that they do. Even though they support with so many weddings, they were always sharing our excitement and dream in the build up to the big day. An important note too, but looking back over the past two years, it seems most of the Cripps team has stayed the same. I.e. I don’t know of any staff who have left. This to me is a good sign – they enjoy working at Cripps and love the work that they do. We remember having our final phone call with Cripps (just 48 hours before our big day). Although the phone call could have been as long as we liked (within reason I feel!), the phone call only last 50 mins as everything had been so well discussed and planned up to that point. It meant we were totally relaxed in the build up to the big day as a result.As for the day itself, we are still on such a high reflecting on the day. So many of our guests have been in touch saying it was the most perfect day, set in the most stunning of venues they have ever been too. They also commented on how the whole day ran to time, as they had been to other weddings where it’s always running late! This was due to the Cripps Team who were on-site throughout the day, ensuring everything went to plan. Our guests also commented on the food, saying how delicious and tasty it was. I recommend going to a Cripps Feast night to taste the food for yourselves – you will taste how amazing it is!In summary, if you’re looking for a rustic Barn, with loads of character, delicious food on the day and a team of staff who support you with the build up to the big day, get in touch with Cripps Barn. Cripps Barn was absolutely perfect for our wedding. Not only is the venue stunning (as commented by all the guests), but their online system and the service that they provided leading up to the day was great with very timely and helpful responses. On the day they made everything run incredibly smoothly, assuring us throughout the day that everything was in hand.They have weddings on the vast majority of days throughout the year but the changeover was seamless and it really felt like it was only ever ‘our’ venue by the way it was handled.The food was absolutely incredible with very generous portions!On top of this, the staff were fantastic to deal with, especially Lucy, James and the bar manager Dave.Highly recommend!!Thank you so much!!!
