Selina and I (Adrian) have spent a life time playing, teaching and helping others to enjoy the Classical Guitar and its music. Our students are of all ages and abilities, many have gone on to University and a career in music. We offer both in person lessons at our studio in Penryn and online lessons through ZOOM, SKYPE, FACE TIME etc in addition we organise residential guitar weekends for those who wish to spend more time with their guitar and enjoy meeting like minded people.

I would like to say a big thank you to all at Stafford Guitar for helping me to choose my lovely Carillo 1a Estudio Spruce guitar. I have moved on from a M R Model A, which is OK, but I needed an instrument that would be more responsive when playing emotionally. Well my new guitar does just that and I am thrilled with it. I chose this model from previous reviews on the website. Notes ring and sing when I play quietly or louder. I have been teaching myself for almost three years, am sixty six, have arthritic thumbs, and I hope that anyone who reads this will persevere if they have problems, because old hands can stretch if you practise. I also received much knowledge in how to take care of my instrument, something I did not receive from the big shops in Manchester and London. And that was before I bought an instrument from Stafford Guitars. There really is much caring, sharing and encouragement from all at Stafford Guitars. I cannot recommend their services highly enough. This is a review of the Classical Guitar weekend course run at Farncombe by Adrian and SeIina of the Stafford Classical Guitar Centre. I really got a lot out of the guitar weekend and was impressed by the balance of technical tips and musicality and the emphasis on how to use technique to create the musical story or atmosphere.It was also great to meet other people who share my interests in an environment that was both exciting and supportive.Heartily recommended.And the food was good! What do you love most about your job?
I love being with my guitar, in fact I miss it if I have to go away for a few days. I love the music, which makes it easier to put in all the hours of practice, and I enjoy teaching and watching my students grow to enjoy playing the guitar.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Staffordguitar.com started because of a demand for quality teaching in the Stafford area. In 2020 we moved to Penryn in Cornwall and are excited to start a new adventure in our lives.

Yes we have an online presence offering teaching mainly through ZOOM, as we feel this offers the best connection for music, though we can also teach online with the use of all other platforms.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
N/A as we only teach online whilst the pandemic lasts.
