Stayed here for 2 nights whilst friends got married here. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, very polite helpful staff. The food was also fantastic. Couldn't fault anything.

Had afternoon tea at St Michael's Manor - Very Nice. Lovely gardens - The original house dates back over 500 years and was converted into a hotel in the early 1960s by the Newling Ward family.

What a treat! Champagne afternoon tea. Fi ger dandwiches, scones with Strawberry jam and cream. And to finish very yummy little cakes.
All in a very elegant and beautiful setting. Sadly it was raining but the views from the windows would tempt you out to the grounds.
Charming and helpful staff. And no intrusive background music!

We had lunch at St. Michaels Manor the first weekend in December. Menu was good with more than the usual single choice for vegetarians. Food was excellent and good value considering the time of year. Staff were polite but we would have liked an area to sit in comfort pre meal. The lounge was taken over by a dance floor and 10 of us were crammed into a corner. Had to ask for drinks twice as the staff seemed pre occupied. More...

Food was well presented. They focused on the presentation more than the quantity of food on your plate. What you got was excellent but could of done with more on the plate. Mainly vegetables.
