Ask which pastries are the most fresh. The staff will tell you. That’s what I did when going in for morning coffee on a recent trip to Portland.

We had the egg salad in their croissant which was so good. Their pastries are light and not too sweet. Love the location. Usually do not go downtown much but will go more often because of St. Honoré

I live for these bread rolls, especially the olive and onion ones! Everything else is a bit pricey but ok as a treat on occasion. Also love a good kouign-amann, although this one is less buttery than the ones I had in Bordeaux (which is a VERY good thing for my organs lol). Overall a lovely French bakery. More...

Always delicious and great service. Their kouign amon is basically the best thing ever, but you can't go wrong with any of their hot food or baked goods. Makes a good date location or simply a place to grab dinner solo. More...

This place invokes many different senses and feelings. The smell of baking is everywhere, that jus adds to the wonderful taste of bread and perfectly balanced black coffee. Interesting salad dressing, beyond traditional choices. Watch bakers kneading dough, hear conversations all around, look at a child jumping in front of the display of baked goods, too excited to choose one... More...

After wonderful dinner at Manzana rotisserie and Grill we stopped in for some dessert ..Unfortunately they were closing, but one of the girls gave us some bread pudding that they were tossing out. .. We Took it home and it was one of the best I've ever had.. I will have to definitely come back and try one of their wonderfully looking sandwiches. More...

Lovely, authentic bakery with perfect patisserie & breads. Made an online special order for an event- the chocolate raspberry delice- and it was superb! A little disappointed that workers seemed stressed and unable to give me a friendly smile, even when I thanked them but perhaps they're going for cliché French service. I would still highly recommend for the quality. More...

Is a great place to spend time yourself and with friends, anytime I received smiles for the people, is very close to Holiday Inn and for me is an excellent place not only to eat, I felt at home and totally recommend this place. A friend had told me about him but my expectations were exceeded greatly, I hope to return soon to Portland and I will definitely return to this place. More...

This place is expensive- you should know that going in. However, it is 100% worth the price. You are paying for the high quality ingredients and expertise of the owner/master baker, who was awarded one of the most prestigious honors in the pastry world in 1990 (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). The pastries are perfect -buttery, flaky, melt in your mouth yet still crispy. The ingredients are locally sourced and expertly cooked. They have savory and sweet pastries, fresh baked breads, it's heaven in an adorable little package. I would love to try everything on the menu, and probably will over time. Highly recommend. More...
