We had a small beach wedding, with specific requests as to what music to play during the reception (I'm also picky about sound, as I've done sound reinforcement myself). S&R DJs far exceeded our expectations, as they set up quickly and simply, played our requested songs, the sound was great, and the lighting was a welcome bonus. Rudy & Sabrina were amazing people! We shopped around for DJs for our wedding, and when I talked to Rudy, I knew straight away that he was the guy we wanted to hire for our big day. He was very tentative to our needs and communication was GREAT. He and his wife arrived early, set up quickly and played music for us way before their time on our contract started! Customer service was 10 stars worthy and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the selection in music. He even played a huge selection of Latin music for me too! DJ rude dog is my all time favorite DJ! Not only does he play bomb music he's very tentative to his customer needs. For my wedding my dad and I did a father daughter dance which required a remix (some old school some new school) Rudy met with us two weeks prior to the big day and spent hours making our mix just the way we wanted it. He went into detail of how we wanted the songs to transition and asked is how long we wanted each song to play. He was so patient and when it came time for the dance, we blew everyone away! My dad got some mad dancing skills but the music mix is what made it complete! Rudy even dedicated extra time at our wedding to make sure there wasn't a silent moment and everything ran smoothly! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
We learn about client music preferences, read the crowd/guests to see what music they enjoy and accepting song requests. We like to get everyone on the dance floor and when we do, we have accomplished our goal as a music professional.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
The owner’s favorite genres are the Carribean, Latin, Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton, old school hip-hop, 80s and oldies. But we serve all genres of music per client preferences and achieves a dance floor with full of people.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to make people feel happy, get them dancing and enjoy themselves because of the music.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a dancer in high school and loved to listen to music all the time. I learned how to DJ by mixing with cassette tapes at home and found a lot of passion in it, so I joined the radio and learned from different mentors which gave the skills I have now. As years gone by, I met my wife (girlfriend at the time) and she encouraged me to start my own business expanding to private events instead of the night club venues.

Besides the owner himself, he works with other vendors and DJs to accommodate client expectations. We are the professionals you can trust to make your event day memorable. We have performed at different types of events and made each of them exciting and fun. We take pride in our services and talent that we realized music are the best part of the all events. Without music, it wouldn't be as much fun and there may be awkward moments with other guests. S&R DJs, Emcee & Sound will start the party, get the party going, and end it with your guests saying "wow, this party was awesome!"

Emcee
There are normally 3 types:
1. Basic announcements of the event program.
2. Hypes the crowd and announces the event program.
3. Hypes the crowd, announces the event program and acts like a wedding planner to make sure everything is going on time (recommended for clients who doesn’t have a wedding planner).
Uplighting
These lights can be enchance the look and feel of the event. It can make a very basic gym to a very upscale looking event. They can be custom to the clients choice and color theme.
Sound System
Sound for Band, Choir, iPod Party, Singer & Instrument or Professional Speakers. We provided sound for some local and professional bands or singers, business meetings, and a choir that we sing in twice a year. We always ensure there's enough sound and good quality for your guests.
Monogram
We have 2 types of Monogram.
1. Traditional Round Monogram. It can be your Name or Initials. Very simple design.
2. Digital. It can be your name or initials and date or customed with an animated background of your choice. We always recommend digital if you don't need our projector and screen for a slide show. Digital is much more upscale and unique to use in your special event. Although we are working on getting another set of projector/screen so we can provide both service at the same time.
Karaoke
We offer karaoke using our professional sound system. We will provide the sound system suitable for the amount of guest. It also includes either projector and screen or connection to your TV.
