I signed up 2 weeks ago very nervous of doing any type of exercise in public, but fed up with feeling unfit. Everyone has been really supportive and not just the fabulous personal trainers. I have never been to a gym before as never take it serious, but as you get older you want to keep fit so i decided to give gym a try and i choose this gym. The atmosphere here is good there is always someone to cheer you on, and give you support. I love squad. I enjoy being around upbeat people with zero judgement and a likeminded purpose. Squad works with myzone so you can track your progress and workout. Just completed the 28 day challenge and to be honest I was dreading it to begin 😳 But they have won me over, I’ve now joined with a monthly boot camp membership and have been going to 4 classes each week, and this was from doing no exercise at all, yes it’s been hard, but I’m beginning not to dread each class and I know it’s making me fitter, so win win all round, thanks to Mandy & Caz 😊👏

I would thoroughly recommend Squad Fitness Gym. The staff are there for you every step of the way helping you and motivating you. The members are lovely there's people of all levels of fitness and everyone works together. I like many others started on the 28 day program. Also, like many others I’ve been coming ever since. We flourish on small classes, a massive amount of support from some very dedicated PTs who genuinely care, they go way above and beyond for every member. Members are friendly, supportive and for many has forged lots of friendships both in and outside of the gym. Classes are varied with a mix of high intensity cardio and weighs. Before joining Squad I hadn't stepped foot in a gym for over 25 years. I was so nervous, but had no reason to be. Absolutely brilliant PTs who are so supportive and patient. Completed the 28 day challenge and love it there so much I joined…never thought I’d say that about exercise! Mandy & Carrie have been fab throughout and so helpful…as they know I’m not there to lose weight but it really has helped my little 🧠 Honestly if anyone is thinking of joining please do it, it’s not daunting or flashy like some gyms just friendly and each class is different and fun…..I’m glad to be part of it 😄

I joined Squad Fitness in September 2021 on the 28 day plan with the goal of losing weight to allow me to complete a charity wing walk. I persuaded my wife Julie to join with me as I needed her to keep me motivated and not quit after the first few sessions. I hadn’t been to a gym for over 30 years, didn’t even own a pair of sports shorts so was quite apprehensive about doing exercise in front of strangers. Mandy and the team were really supportive and encouraging around planning meals using the recipe books and explaining the point of the various exercises. Personally I find things easier to do if I understand why I am doing them and how to do them correctly. Within a few weeks Julie and I started to notice a difference in our general health, we both lost some weight and our BMI’s reduced. We started to attend more of the group classes and got to know lots of other members. Hearing their stories and how they have managed to make lifestyle changes keeps us motivated to do the same. The monthly challenges that you can join in with also keep us training as much as we can each week. 5 months in and we have each lost over 2 stone in weight, both feel much healthier, look quite different in a good way which has be noticed by friends and family have had to buy new clothes as nothing fits us anymore! We are convinced that we wouldn’t have been able to do this at a normal gym and it is because of the way Squad Fitness works and the support the trainers and other members give you that has enabled us to make these lifestyle changes and most importantly stick to them. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their physical and mental well-being and doesn’t want to feel intimidated whilst trying to make a positive change. We wish we had discovered this great group of friendly people years ago. Lockdown has allowed us to change our work life balance for the better and as the world starts returning to normal one thing’s for certain, Squad Fitness is going to remain part of our day to day lives going forward. SF is the only gym I’ve stuck out for longer than 3 months let alone a year and am still loving it! People are so friendly it’s more like a social club, great trainers, great atmosphere, and the classes and system work marvellously. You can be in and out and a few hundred calories burnt no problem. I’ve achieved a 1.5 stone loss in 6 months I’ve attended classes and laughed and smiled throughout I’ve worked the hardest I’ve ever done to tone up and get strong I’m happier healthier and more positive in general I’ve met a great crowd of people of all ages and sizes both men and women all encouraging each other I’ve never known a place like it it’s been a god send to me I’ve proud of my effort and I thank Mandy in particular but all at SF are fantastic Join and you’ll be surprised how much fun you’ll have

I’ve just completed the 6 week challenge and I feel fantastic... physically and mentally! I found the first couple of weeks really tough but with all the support and encouragement from the trainers and fellow members I got through it and now enjoy exercising (something I never thought I’d say! ). It doesn't matter how fit you are, each session is suitable for everyone. There's no competitiveness, everyone works together and encourage each other.
