Had a lovely stay here overnight with a friend. Bed was comfy, pool was nice and pleasant temperature and the changing rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was tasty too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative I can say is that the bathroom could do with a little bit of modernisation; however it was clean and if like me you aren't that bothered by decor it's such a minor thing it shouldn't spoil your stay. Really nice place!!! Staff are very friendly, food is tasty and well presented, facilities are spotless. It has a lovely decked area with nice view to relax and have a drink. Wouldnt hesitate to visit again

Very nice place to take a short break to see the beauty even in the snow of North Wales.
Fantastic views across the river Dee to the Wirral and close to the City of Chester, Rhyl and other local towns.
Really enjoyed the stay the rooms were clean, spacious and the bed was huge, very friendly staff and a breakfast to start the day off correctly.
Had such a relaxing stay (2 nights) but much needed thank you all very much.

Really tidy and very well cared for hotel in a beautiful location. Don't worry about the proximity to the road. The gardens are surrounded by a gorgeous high hedge full of song birds.
Out back sheep queue up for you to count as you have a lie-in in a very comfy bed.
Staff give you a warm welcome and the bar and social space is open and bright. We didn't get time to use the pool.. Something for next time as we're definitely coming back again!

Nice gym and pool which is always warm. Sauna available just off the pool. Great food and friendly staff. Usually not too busy but can get very busy when there are events or weddings in the function room. Handy position just off the A55 for visitors to North Wales to stop off for the night or just a meal and a coffee before continuing their journey or contractors work locally. More...
