This is a review for Laura Spence (Hot Hands Healing): Laura is simply amazing. The reiki + Inidian Head Massage therapy she performed was deeply relaxing and it soothed many pains. She took ample time to chat at first, and the massage felt like it lasted much longer than it did. I was absolutely delighted! I would give Laura 5 stars if I could find her business on Google Reviews, but since this is for Santosa Wellness (where she rents a therapy room), but the one star missing is for Santosa Wellness Centre itself. As it was raised in previous comments, the place does not feel very clean (the old carpets don't help) and an effort could be made to make the therapy rooms feel fresh and clean. More...

I have been to the Santosa Centre maybe 12 years ago (if not longer) and I was very curious to be back. Unfortunately the Centre looks as dated as it used to be and even the carpet had the same worn and unpleasantly stained outlook. It was also very cold inside with a few people keeping their jackets and even hats on in the cafe. I had booked a 2,5 hour long body workshop in the basement and everyone of us was freezing despite having multiple layers of warm clothing on and blankets to cover. Not cool at all for a centre that promotes yoga, wellness and wellbeing. More...

I have been regularly attending Alan and Romi now for a couple of years and they have helped me with numerous muscular problems I have incurred through various sports. Full body treatments are incredible, but they can focus on problem areas and leave these muscles feeling relieved and revitalised. It is hard to find therapists who you can put your full trust in to do a fantastic job every time you visit, and Alan and Romi have never let me down. More...

I’d suffered from tension headaches, related to shoulder and neck problems, for some time. I spend a lot of time at the desk and on the phone. Alan and Rumi and their holistic approach and Tui Na techniques (amongst others) have managed to almost entirely relieve the headaches and re-energise me. Cannot recommend highly enough as an effective antidote to today’s desk bound lifestyle! More...

I first attended for chronic repetitive strain (RSI) in both arms. Physio wasn't working and it was making life difficult. At one point, I couldn't even handwrite a shopping list. The mix of massage/passive strengthening has improved things so much, that I can do much more now before they get sore. If I happen to overdo it, they recover quicker. Some of the focus has now switched to helping me with IBS. I'm feeling optimistic! They are very kind and reliable. More...

I work at a desk all day so my posture is often leaning forward without thinking about it, giving my shoulders especially some stiffness. Alan seemed to find this instinctively and pointed out why this might be the case (strangely I’d never thought about this myself before!) afterwards I felt like I could float out the door, I felt a difference with just one session. Lovely people and a welcoming, safe and relaxing atmosphere. Felt very at ease and comfortable with Alan and Rumi, many thanks to them. More...

I have had massages from both Alan and Rumi and highly recommend their services. Upon arrival they ask you to indicate where you might be having any specific pains (in my case shoulders ache and an odd occasional neck pain) and they will get to work. Both times I had a full body massage but specific attention was given to areas I had said I issues, and they also provided a cupping option. The experience leaves your whole body feeling wonderful afterwards! Alan and Rumi also talked to me a little about what might have been causing the pain I was experiencing and how I can try to manage it which was very helpful. I would suggest going in loose and comfortable clothing as you stay dressed and you are massaged over a sheet, which I appreciated as sometimes you don’t know what the etiquette is and might feel uncomfortable undressing but there was none of that here! I have been going to Spring Forest Therapies regularly for many years. My first visit was for stiff shoulders and Alan and Rumi were excellent in fixing my problems. I also suffered from sinus issues which caused terrible headaches and they helped greatly to relieve the pain. Recently I had problems with my elbow and they focused on treating it and I am very happy with the results. Alan and Rumi are very good at finding the cause of problems and help to alleviate aches and pains. I find Tuina massage combined with cupping to be very effective and I have had a lot of other massages to make comparisons! Chat is always great too! I always feel relaxed in mind and lighter in body after a session and leave the practice with a spring in my step! More...
