We hired Paul and the folks at Split Circuit Sound to DJ our wedding ceremony and reception, and we've never been happier! From the get-go, Paul was extremely helpful and communicative in the planning process. There was never any question of what came next, from the deposit to the day of the event. Planning the music and entertainment was the least stressful part of wedding planning with the help of Paul's DJ Wedding Worksheet. It laid out all the places where a song choice was recommended and required and it came with some top song choices in years past for those events. The dance floor was always hopping and the perfect blend of dance music as well as slower music for the couples to dance to (and give the party animals a breather).I had planned a trick on my groom for the garter dive, and with very little prior warning our DJ was happy to play it up and helped make it an absolute success of a prank.Everything was perfect, and I didn't have to lift a finger or figure out any of the details, Paul took care of everything! Paul was the DJ at my wedding, and he did an INCREDIBLE job. He's incredibly adept at reading the room, and knowing the music to play in order to keep the energy high, and the party ongoing. He provided music (at our request) for the ceremony, and helped to coordinate timing so that everything sounded and felt right. The lighting he brought for the ceremony did a great job in making our colours and clothing pop, and it provided excellent mood lighting later into the evening.I would not hesitate in contracting Paul again the next time I need DJ services, and I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family when they need a DJ.Thanks so much Paul! WOW!!!!! Split Circuit just DJ’ed our daughter’s wedding in Kananaskis Country & did an AMAZING job!! We had so much fun with Brenden (did I spell that right ) and his buddy (whose name I would insert here but I can’t remember, sorry )! ! They are really talented in what they do & kept our crowd on their feet all night! Extremely impressed with Brenden’s MC’ing as you would have thought he knew Katie & Curtis forever with many guests asking “how they knew him” as he did such a great job! Amazing! We booked Split Circuit Sound as our DJ service for our wedding reception. Kurt and Brenden kept the dance floor going all night. All our guests were really impressed with them. We recently used Split Circuit Sound DJ services for our wedding. We had Brenden as our main DJ and WOW was he amazing! Fun, energetic and even captured some cool photo shots while in his booth! We were able to meet up with him prior to our wedding to go over our song choices and wants of the day with the music. He was so easy going and made the whole experience stress free. We walked away from our meeting feeling totally prepared music wise for our big day. He was very efficient with set up and take down, perfect timing for transition of songs and interacted with guests to make the evening amazing! I would highly recommend Split Circuit Sound for any event and if you can, request Brenden to be your main DJ. Trust me, you won't regret it! We were recommended by a close friend to use Split Circuit Sound to DJ our wedding, and I am very happy with how it turned out! We were quite late picking out a DJ, but they made the process incredibly easy and weren't intimidated by the short preparation time. The music selection was fantastic and kept the crowds energy up for nearly the entire time that people were dancing. Our DJ's worked closely with our MC to keep any of the little games happening at the reception in theme. Once guests started clearing out and it was time to clean, the music continued and made the final tasks much more enjoyable.Added bonus that they just happened to wear purple to a purple themed wedding without prior knowledge. Paul was great to work with leading up to our wedding and the two other staff that were actually on site were amazing. Me and my wife loved your guys music and the lighting was deadly especially the sparkling one that shoots sparks out that makes you feel like a move star. .. Darcy and I had the good fortune to hire Split Circuit Sound for our wedding last fall and we could not have made a better choice! Paul and his staff were the utmost in professionalism and a whole lot of fun to work with. There was a surprise engagement for my niece at our dance, we informed Paul ahead of time and he added in special lights, sparklers and awesome music to help the fellow with his proposal. We cannot say enough good things about Split Circuit Sound! The photo booth was a true highlight of the evening and we received rave reviews from our guests for weeks after. We had a very positive experience with Split Circuit Sound! When emailing back and forth getting everything organized they were always very fast to reply and were always very helpful. We had to make some changes to songs and where the DJ was going to be in the hall on short notice and they made it work! Our guests were absolutely blown away by our wedding - and we couldn't have done it without Paul and his team at Split Circuit. Our dance floor was packed all night (literally ALL NIGHT) and Paul kept the crowd pumped with appropriate music choices for the mood. He catered to our every need, playing lots of the music we wanted (country) and avoiding the stuff we specifically said we didn't.Paul made our event very enjoyable, and I would recommend these guys again in a heartbeat. Split Circuit Sound was such an incredible DJ experience. We were so so happy with our choice and other couples can feel confident choosing them as well. Paul was really great at reading the crowd and playing the perfect songs for the vibe all night long! He got everybody up and dancing, even people we never expected to hit the dance floor! Split Circuit was very easy to work with and very accommodating, they collected all the songs we wanted played before the wedding and all the ones we definitely didn't want and adhered to that perfectly. But most importantly they took from that list and expanded on it way better than we ever could have hoped for and played such a great night of music for our wedding.
