Nabo Cataring

Riaan catered a 3 course meal for my daughter's 21st birthday on 15 Feb 2022. We spent very close to 12k on this meal and find it utterly disgusting that Riaan refuses to respond to my messages. On the night the guests were complaining about the rice that tasted off. According to him there was nothing wrong, but why would people refuse to eat from it? It was all soggy and when I tried it, I couldn't even digest it. I sent several messages and absolutely no response to my request for a reimbursement for that particular dish.

What a shame that a service provider, especially food, has no principles and etiket to respond to a client. Why shy away from your responsibilities. His response on the night was that the rice was freshly made the morning, but he should've taken proper precautions to keep it from going off.

I'm extremely disappointed as it was a memorable occasion and I will always remember the service rendered. I will never recommend his service to anyone.

So please be careful, this is a Warning!!!
Don't expect any after service from Spitbraai Functions. We probably let about R700 go down the drain. More...
