Laura DJed for my 21st bday party and was so brilliant. She arrived nice and early to set up her awesome DJ booth, had an infinite selection of music in every genre, and her performance had everyone (even the members of the older generation! ) on the dance floor. She had the rare skill of mixing songs so seamlessly that you couldn’t find the opportune time to leave the floor and it was impossible to stop dancing! Best of all, she stayed on the decks far longer than we were expecting, keeping the party going long into the night, and looked like she was having a great time herself (which is always the sign of a great DJ). Laura DJ'd at our wedding in Norfolk and was a complete Super Star. Prior to the event she spent time with us to make sure the Playlist would create exactly the feeling that we wanted at our wedding, and also gave us some good advice on how best to switch best from genre to genre. Laura was super professional, arrived early, set up the dance floor so it looked like a proper party and made everyone really happy with her amazing tunes. Laura was our DJ for our wedding and we absolutely cannot recommend her enough! From our very first interactions, to our meetings and then to the evening of our wedding itself, Laura was attentive, lovely, and worked with the highest level of professionalism. She listened to what we wanted and BOY did she deliver on the night. The dance floor was constantly full, and absolutely everyone commented on how amazing she was. The liveliness of our wedding reception was very important to us, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help us celebrate our wedding, Laura went above and beyond, and made the evening so much more fun than we even dreamed! Laura is super. She DJed our wedding and kept the dance floor full until the very last song. She mixed quality music together across the evening and read the room like a pro. She dealt with a tricky venue (noise pollution controls cutting music out) really, really well and loads of our guests were praising her for being lovely as well as playing tune after tune. My wife and I got married a few weeks and it was so perfect I couldn’t have pictured a better day.This was made all the better by DJ Stef! If she didn’t already know by all of us relentlessly telling her how incredible she was, let me tell you she absolutely killed it! The mood music during dinner was spot on, the MCing was so incredibly helpful and crowd interaction made everything more fun. There wasn’t a song played that didn’t keep everyone young and old on the floor (I would know as I only sat one song out and only to get a glass of water) We also very much enjoyed her company as we all closed out the bar downstairs after the party, she was very popular behind and in front of the turntables. As we feel like we’ve set off a chain reaction with our friends and setting the bar so high for awesome wedding parties I’m sure we will be getting in touch with you in the future to get her back in to our lives.I also wanted to say thank you to Laura for coming to our rescue when the venue DJ agency let us down. Laura played at our wedding and we could not have asked for a better service! The booking process was efficient and easy, Laura herself was very friendly, nice and professional, and the set she played on the night had everyone up and dancing for hours! An example of the great service provided was that Laura made the effort to meet up with us before the event to get to know us and what type of music we wanted which we really appreciated. Also we had some special requests from her set up to allow a quick transition from our live band to Laura’s set which she was very accommodating for. We hired Spin Sisters for our wedding in France and from start to finish, they were excellent. Laura was our DJ and from the moment we booked her, she provided and friendly yet very professional service. She listened to our requirements and delivered exactly what we asked for. Being a wedding, we wanted to cover a vast amount of different types of music and Laura was knowledgeable in every genre and was able to offer guidance on what genres to play at certain stages of the evening. On the night, Laura delivered an excellent party and adjusted her set to what was filling the dance floor. An added benefit was, it made our bar bill cheap as as no one left the dance floor The next day, Laura was on form again, DJ'ing at our BBQ/Pool Party. She started off with some nice chilled background music as everyone slowly recovered from the night before and then adjusted the tempo and music choice perfectly as the sun came out and the alcohol kicked in, ended in a great 2nd day party. DJ Stef is an amazing act and made our wedding reception one of the most fun nights many of our guests said that they have had. She had the venue pumping from our first dance right until midnight! Excellent music and fantastic DJ's.
We booked two the spin sisters (back-to-back) to our wedding in Mexico earlier this year, all the guests loved their tunes and danced until the tequila ran out. The booking process was easy and friendly staff made one of our many "things to do" feel effortless. If you are looking for something unique and to impress your fam/friends at your event, don't look elsewhere.

We hired Spin Sisters for our wedding in July 2015.
The music was amazing! The DJ played music of all genres from classics to all the up to date smash hits! There was 90s dance, 80s, Garage, Indie, Golden Oldies... you name it!
Everyone of all ages had a great dance and the dance floor was always packed as she played one hit after another!
It was an amazing party and really made our wedding a day/night to remember!��

Laura Harvey (spinsisters founder) is resident DJ for us. Laura is a fantastic DJ who really knows her music. She has a great ability to read the crowd and she always picks the right tunes at the right time whether she plays at 11pm or 3am. We hired SpinSisters to DJ at our wedding in London and we couldn’t of been happier with the service provided. They played the music we wanted (70’s soul, 80’s, 90’s, old skool, garage, drum & bass and house music) we had a fabulous party that we will remember forever.

The DJ turned up on time with a helper and they set up very efficiently without disturbing us.

Their equipment was all very high quality (looked great & sounded great) I was also impressed with communication & organisation in the booking process. I will definitely be using SpinSisters again for future parties. More...
