Spencer’s made our dream wedding become reality. I can compliment Brian and Yoanna (and their staff) enough! They were extremely kind, responsive, accommodating and flexible, experienced, and a lot of fun to work with.
I had hired a wedding planner before knowing any better and ended barely using her because Brian and Yoanna did a way better job! No need for an additional planner when you have these two on your team! They made planning genuinely fun and I looked forward to our strategy calls or email exchanges.
As for the setting- INCREDIBLE!! I had been going to Spencer’s for years and had no idea how beautiful their event space was behind the restaurant. We barely spent any money on outdoor decor because it is already breath taking! As for the little pieces we brought in, Brian and Yoanna we’re flexible with whatever we wanted to do and even gave us great suggestions to help with flow and enhance our theme. The indoor space was the perfect size for our 140 guests, and a big dance floor, and our 7 piece band. Again, Brain and Yoanna were a huge help with the spacing of tables, colour coordination, and could offer great insight to how the space would feel.
A great surprise was the quality of the food. We obviously loved the food during our testing but when it has to be delivered to 140 guests you likely expect it to be just ok. Not at Spencer’s!! I had multiple guests tell me it was the best meal EVER! And I agreed- I thought as the bride I’d have a couple bites but ended up licking my plate clean. We gave our guests the option to choose the steak, sea bass, and mushroom vegan option. All were to die for and Brian made it all work even with us being 40 min behind schedule!
The entire event went without a hitch and was so enjoyable. I can tell that Brian has a lot of pride with what he does and it shows. A real professional and incredible event coordinator.

Had a wonderful New Years eve lunch. The had a ongoing business luncheon special that boasts that the meal would be served in 45 minutes. Well, that didn't't happen. By the time we were served desert it was well past 90 minutes....Also, I ordered a glass of Pino Griggo. I thought it would be the house special, but when the bill came I saw I was served a $20 glass. I did not special order any specific brand....Not nice More...

Food servers confused, they attempted to deliver the wrong food to our table. Also, food servers were walking around the restaurant with “our” food looking for the right table to deliver it to. Each time they ended up back into the kitchen.Table next to us had two dogs sitting at the table, not on the floor, in a chair and on the bench, with their owners. They were well behaved and it was obvious they were purbreds. I thought that was very unusual, even for Palm Springs! My concern was that the service people didn’t wipe the seat or the bench off before the next group of people sat down. More...

Beautiful restaurant with patio dining amongst big trees, right next to the mountain at the west side of downtown Palm Springs. Great menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Elegant without being pretentious or overly expensive. Highly recommended for at least one meal if you are only in PS for a short time. I don't feel that our service was as good as previous visits to Spencer's. Server seemed distracted and I had to ask for the wine I ordered with my entree. 4 of us for Christmas lunch mainly sandwhiches. All food was enjoyed overall. Big portions! But I have had better onion rings at Carls Junior. We've been there many times over the years! It is a unique venue given that it is right in the Tennis Club and it's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. .. They are always very helpful, cordial and professional...just like clockwork!We do feel the prices have increased for some items, especially the wines. The food quality remains good, however not quite what it used to be a few years ago... It is always a special occasion when dining at Spencer's in Palm Springs. The setting alone is worth a visit. The servers have been working there for many years and their goal is to take excellent care of their customers. The menu is always filled with wonderful seasonal and regular choices. Our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. We reserve a table on the patio for lunch every Friday and order the 3 course lunch for $20. Always a great value. Friday there is always a seafood special. You can never go wrong with Spencer's. It's been my favorite for twenty years. I am hesitant to review them, as I really want to keep this place a secret for myself and my friends. The food and service is five plus star...always. The prices are reasonable, especially for lunch. The valet parking is top notch. The ambiance is enchanting. The history of the place is mind boggling. If too many tourists find out about this place we local's will never be able to get a table here.
