I had a tried a number of different trainers before working with Nigel and was not seeing any results. I have been training with Nigel for the past year now with 1 to 1 training and the transformation I have seen in the past 12 months is just incredible.When I started I was not able to do a single push up (which we laugh at now) whereas Nigel helped me build my strength up.Nigel is a great trainer who will understand what results you want to see and will tailor a training program especially for your needs. He is also fantastic always working around my schedule and squeezing me in to his day or staying in later to accommodate me. He kicks you into gear when its needed however it is always a good laugh going in to train and you walk knowing you had a good session. I cannot recommend Nigel enough as a trainer!! More...

I am currently over a month and a half into a 6-month programme and I couldn't recommend Nigel more. I have noticed the improvements in my body, have lost weight, gained muscle and improved my self-confidence. As someone who had very limited experience in a gym and who never had the confidence to use weights, I found his knowledge and explanations of the exercises / weight sessions and the benefits extremely useful. This has greatly improved my understanding of not only how to do the exercises but why I do these exercises (which I will be able use long after the programme finishes). Nigel’s programme has included developing and supporting my nutrition plans and his knowledge on the correct foods, supplements and what to eat to fully recover has allowed me to continue pushing for better results. The training plans are tough and I always leave the gym exhausted but with the correct nutrition and rest periods, I haven’t felt exhausted or in pain. If anything, I feel like I have more energy. One of the most positive aspects of working with Nigel is his ability to keep you motivated through tough sessions, early mornings and where you ‘fall off the horse’. He never apportions blame but does hold a level accountability for ensuring that you are able to motivate yourself to improve, learn and continue to see result. As someone who has on a number of occasions stopped exercising after a number of weeks, I found the motivation aspect of the programme particularly useful. I find Nigel to be extremely knowledgeable on training sessions, nutrition plans and on the correct supplements to support to me on my journey to better fitness. If contemplating a personal trainer in the future, I would highly recommend Nigel and jumping head first into the training sessions and the overall programme. More...

10 months on since starting training with Nigel, things are still progressing well!
They have been tough workouts, but accessible and sustainable, and really helped me develop good habits of my own! :)

I was 7 weeks with Nigel and he'd come highly recommended. Training was tough and sharp but worth it. He set out plans which suited my schedule.He also gave me a proper nutrition plan to work on and provided tips. He also set me on a programme when working on my own. More...

I did a month of personal training with Nigel after returning to the gym after a three week holiday in Croatia. My aim was to lose body fat but maintain muscle and learn to continue to meet this objective without suffering the injuries I have become prone to over the past few years like tennis elbow and sore knees. Nigel’s training style of High Intensity Training definitely helped me towards these three goals. The sessions were tough but Nigel’s positive motivation helped me push myself to the limit and through the fatigue levels where before this I would have given up. In just a month I lost 6% body fat and felt stonger and fitter all over. Plus, the best result of all was that I pushed myself to the limit for a month and the joint pains had completely sub-sided. A great result for a month of training. I would highly recommend Nigel to anyone looking to learn how to lift heavier, improve technique and generally learn to enjoy work outs while pushing yourself to the limit. More...
