I had been a client of Sparkling Clean for almost 20 years. A little over a year ago ownership changed hands. Work has been mediocre since, but the biggest problem I have is that on my most recent agreed upon cleaning day, I was texted that morning and told they couldn’t accommodate me that day and would have to start coming once a month instead on bi-weekly. This really put me in a bad spot with a ton of guests coming the following day. I tried calling the owner several times. He never called me back, such a lack of integrity. This company was hired to clean a friend's house: a single mother with special needs kids, going through a crisis. They showed up, looked around, and then REFUSED TO CLEAN. The cleaners left without cleaning, without doing the job they were engaged to do. After insulting her and making her feel horrible, the cleaners left without having completed a single minute of cleaning. Weeks later they mailed her a bill for $230. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE unless you want to be insulted and belittled and then charged for services not rendered. More...
