December 2015 - Business Vision/Statement


I am Andrew Lavery. I live in Little Chalfont and I have been trading as a qualified local Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter, Drywall Liner and Builder under the name of Clean Renewable Energy since the start of December 2015. It is now a Limited VAT registered company.

I have 6 years industry experience. I gave up being a police officer (formally a soldier in the British Army) to do a job that would afford me more time to spend with my family and support them in their times of need. I was fortunate in making the big leap from employment to self employment as this month my mum and I found out that she was diagnosed with Myeloma, a blood cancer. I am now there to help her with her hospital appointments and fit my work in around mum and my children.

I don't think I would have been so successful in finding plumbing and electrical jobs to do in the local area without the help of 'MyBuilder' as I am able to assess if I am suitable for the job when you post your job on the site. I know that I am competing with other very honourable/ and dishonourable professional tradesmen who generally have more experience than I do at this stage in my business.

Being qualified I am sure that I will be able to provide a service that equals my competitors, but it is my intention to surpass it. I like to rate my experiences and I would like you to rate me. I am only successful based on my ratings and reviews. Your reviews will keep me in business and so I will do all I can to ensure you give me the 5 star boost that any new business needs.

Update January 2018

It is sad to announce that I lost my mum just before Xmas 2017. I am now beginning again and will continue working for my local community in the same vain than my late mother would have wished and that clearly I wish, to continue to run my own business and to support my children ongoing. I hope to see you soon and to develop your property to the high standards we all expect.

Update November 2018

We have rebranded our business and changed our name to Sparkle Repair & Build Limited. We have taken on much larger projects including complete property renovations all over the south of the UK. We are also beginning to develop our business to offer services requiring tradesman that can safely operate at height.
