I love Hat City. I’ve been coming here for 8 years and I love the new renovation. I really enjoy the new sophisticated feel. The service is always on point. The food is great. If you are coming to an event, get there early so you can get a seat. The only downside which has been for years is that if you sit at the bar, people will constantly bump into you or shove you to order a drink when you are trying to order a meal. I’m 31 and these are my elders. No manners or class. I actually had to get up and leave from the Arthea Franklin Tribute because I was so frustrated with people’s lack of courtesy. Leaving 6 empty drinks by my hands while I’m eating and you see this a busy evening with a packed bar and busy bartenders. Disgusting without an “excuse me miss”. I will thank the staff the newer faces and some familiar far always being so kind and giving a great customer experience. More...

MPack Band was great! I’m from NYC and I went to see MPack play at Hat City in Orange, NJ. I truly enjoy going to MPack’s shows!
Our waiter Benjamin, who also bartended, was knowledgeable of the menu and was very nice. My mom and me shared a mix of appetizers for dinner, along with a couple of their signature cocktails; the food and drinks were good.
I’d definitely go back to see MPack perform again, also for the service and try more of the menu at Hat City. Had a great time!

I've been quite a few times now and my experience was wonderful. I've even brought my children with me on occasion. The food is great, the staff is kind, the music is awesome and I love that they have a little something for everyone to enjoy.

I love everything about HCK- the music, the food and the beers on tap (although there could be a wider selection). Even without the music as an attraction, it's great to have a neighborhood pub where you can come sit at the bar and be treated sort of as part of a community. Oh, and the prices are great too.
