Our experience with Spa Medical was extremely positive.
We had a short conversation prior to booking our appointment to ensure our needs were understood.
We were then booked in at relatively short notice at a convenient time as we’re both working.
When we attended our appointment we were immediately put at ease by Laura. We left very happy that our documents were in order for our forthcoming holiday.
The charge for certifying our documents was also reasonable and we would both recommend Spa.

Saw Dr Pierini with my baby at 5 days old as she clearly had a severe tongue tie that was causing feeding to be extremely painful. He diagnosed a 90% tongue tie and performed the procedure quickly, easily and professionally. He was kind, friendly and welcoming. Would 110% recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Thank you. We took our twins for tongue tie assessment and we were looked after from the minute we arrived. Dr Pierini came in on his day off and was phenomenal. He made us feel at ease and took his time to explain the procedure and what to expect. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone! More...

A shame other medical practices are not this good. Doctors, both with great bedside manner, expertise and kind,. Staff efficient, delightful and go the extra distance. New to Cheltenham and thrilled to get what I have been used to. Forget NHS surgeries.......... More...

To start Lisa the receptionist is lovely and had a long chat to me about my son, we then had a tongue tie assessment with dr pierini i was extremely anxious after being ignored for 19weeks by the nhs and my sons extremely low weight 10lb 6oz at 19 weeks he reassured me, explained everything fully and assessed and performed the tongue tie revision very quickly a 70% tie assesses and corrected in one appointment yet missed by so many nhs professionals despite me requesting a check all they wanted to do was push formula im so glad i didnt listen and got a appointmentwith dr pierini. My sons latch was immediately better and stronger, today the day after hes feeding better, happy no longer screaming from trapped wind and is loving being able to move his tongue. I honestly cant thank spa medical enough and hopefully my sons weight issues will now get better and not forgetting how unrushed we was, the dr made me a cup of tea and my partner had a coffee while i fed my son if only all drs was like this More...

I needed urgent professional medical attention and was getting no where with NHS, just being kicked between GPs and A&E. Recommended to Spa. The medical centre facilities are excellent, Doctor attended me on time, no opportunity for a tea and magazine. Attention and the medical services performed all exceeded my expectations. Follow up review the next day was exceptional. I will not be going anywhere else hereafter and that applies for my wife and children also. I travel extensively and almost never leave recommendations. My daughter was born with a tongue tie, which made breastfeeding difficult for her and very painful for me. The tongue tie was later confirmed by a midwife when she was 3 days old. She contacted the NHS to make an appointment for a frenotomy, however the appointment wouldn't have been for over 4 weeks. After finding Spa Private Medical of the Association for Tongue Tie website, I called to make an appointment. We were seen within the week, the staff were wonderfully friendly and Dr Pierini was honest and said if he didn't think the procedure would help, he wouldn't perform it. As it was, she had a 60% tongue tie so he talked us through the frenotomy procedure, pros and cons and what may happen afterwards; reattachment, etc. He was quick to perform the procedure and encouraged me to feed her straight away as this would help with the healing process. He left us to it (and made me a cup of tea!) and came back to check on us a little later. Overall, despite it being a really horrible experience, Dr Pierini made it easy to understand and it was over so quickly, I barely had a chance to get upset or worry. Thanks to everyone, would recommend to anyone needing an urgent appointment and can't wait for an NHS appointment. More...
