What makes a great website?
There are many variables that make a great website. Needs to be compatible on all browsers and multiple devices (Responsive), Easy to navigate, Clear Call-to-Actions, Unique / Genuine Content, Optimized for Search Engines and Many Other SEO Factors, Load Speed, and much more. These are some of the basic essential import variables that make a great website all around.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Some of the most common questions are: What are your goals or what would you like to come out of this project or what is the focus and primary call-to-action. Do you have any examples of what you like that you can reference. What is your time-frame. What is your budget.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Typically have clients complete a questionnaire on my website to learn more about what they are looking for and other project-related questions. Then I like to speak with my clients in more detail about the project to develop a dialog and fill-in any gaps of information. Once an agreement on price has been made work begins!
