I cannot thank John enough for how amazing and special he made our day and he is such a lovely person through and through. He even got involved helping the photographer with some tricky smoke bombs!!! He really was fabulous. He obviously listened during the speeches as the music played really reflected what had been mentioned on the day. My walk up the aisle was perfect and he takes so much time beforehand for a quick call from a stressed out bride to make sure everything is in place. I also want to congratulate John as he was married two days prior!!!! I knew the lights and music would be good, but I honestly didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was. He also supplied the photo booth and the girls working on it were kind, fun and really got our guests into the spirit. We got to speak to John at various points thoughout the night and he was calm, friendly and just an absolute pleasure to have there on the day. 5/5 isn't enough, thank you John for everything!!!! South West Discos Direct recently provided a range of services for our Wedding evening reception. From the start, they provided excellent service, and were organised throughout. Easy to work with, and flawless delivery. South West Discos were contracted to provide several hours of evening disco entertainment, with mood lighting, special effects, feature props and a photo-booth. In advance a no-quibble price for the services was arranged, and thorough paperwork covering all details for our day sent through for us to complete. Nothing seemed difficult no matter how last minute the request was; everything was accommodated. On the big day, South West Discos arrived in plenty of time, liaising with all key people but leaving us as Bride and Groom in peace. Highly recommend south west discos to anyone for a disco!! Highly professional, met all requirements, lovely gentleman, and nothing was to much trouble! ! He really made my daughters happy.. and never once got annoyed with any requests!! We used John from South west Discos direct for our wedding at the Bristol Harbour hotel. John was professional and truly made it a smooth and enjoyable day for both us and our guests. From day one, he listened and fully understood what we wanted and the music was spot on for the day and night. John was very accommodating, flexible and provided us with everything which we requested, he was always available and happy to chat to us to confirm the fine details. From the morning of the wedding, everything was set up smoothly and the decorations (DJ Booth, Love Sign, Mood lights & Vintage post-box) was beautifully set up at the venue. Throughout the day, the music was played perfectly from the entrance of bride and groom to the first and last dance. Right from our first contact with John he’s been amazing. He has been so prompt with replying to all of our questions and nothing was too much trouble. His set up on the night was incredible and there was a constant queue for the photo booth which proved to be a massive hit with all our family & friends. For a couple who live in South Wales we found booking suppliers a little more difficult than normal as we werent familiar with those in Gloucestershire. One of our suppliers recommended John at Southwest discos so we went ahead and booked. From the moment we booked Southwest Discos we definitely made the right decision. John was super helpful, took all of the stress away from us so we had nothing to worry about. Even the fact we still hadn't made a decision on our first dance until 3pm on the wedding day, John did not pressure us into making a decision and therefore made the day run as smooth as possible. John even picked up on the fact our venue did not carry out the master of ceremony and therefore took it upon himself to introduce the speeches even though he hadn't been told or warned of this. John did a fantastic job, from the music to the lighting display we couldn't have asked for anymore. I would highly recommend using Southwest Discos for any future event. More...

John was the DJ for our wedding on Thursday and I honestly can’t believe how brilliant he was. Our guest were a wide range of ages and he managed to play something for everyone. Would definitely recommend Wayne and his wife for a children's disco!! Kept all the children entertained throughout the whole two hour party! The children and the adults all commented on how great you were! Even put up with being jumped on at the end by ALL the kids! Fantastic set-up and John the DJ was absolutely brilliant, it was an 80s themed party and John catered brilliantly with all those cheesy 80s tracks and made sure everyone got up dancing! ! We used John for our wedding on 22nd November 2018 at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham......I cannot recommend John highly enough! He had one request from me...keep the dance floor full! 100% this was achieved! John is professional and his kit is outstanding. He knows how to read the crowd keep the dance floor full! John was our DJ at our wedding yesterday. From first booking him til now he has been amazing! Highly professional extremely accomodating and very nice! I can not recommend John enough after DJ-ing my sister in laws wedding! Not only was the music fantastic, the lighting was spot on, music requests were taken all night (even baby shark�) and he was professional from start to finish. John went the extra mile too, when my, my partners and our two year olds booked taxi didn’t turn up, John offered to take us home even though it was out of his way.
