We had a 3 tier, semi naked cake for our wedding. Ruth was very friendly and helpful when we were choosing a style and flavours, working well around a tight schedule.
Ruth liaised directly with our venue and placed the topper we provided perfectly amongst the fruit decorations on top so we had absolutely no worries about the cake being ready on time.
The cake was light and delicious, it went down very well with all our guests.

Ruth creates absolutely stunning cakes. She created a 4 tier masterpiece for our wedding day 27th July 2018.
We were truly blown away by how beautiful it was.
Ruth also made a unicorn cake for one of our guests who was celebrating her birthday on our special day!
This was just as incredible...... the cake was truly scrumptious, red velvet, chocolate mud and lemon curd. amazing!
We also had biscuits made for the children, which were also a work of art... there little faces lit up when they saw them!

The scary thing about your wedding cake is that you leave your ideas with a stranger and don’t see your cake until the day of the wedding. Well Southwell Cakery did not disappoint! In fact I wanted to cry happy tears when I first set eyes on my stunning cake that Ruth designed and made. We had guests assuming it was real tree logs it was that good! My sister introduced me to Country Mumkin she had the most fabulous cupcakes made to send to school for my nieces class so I decided to have them made for my 2 year olds birthday party to send home instead of cake. She had Peppa Pig cupcakes and they looked fantastic and tasted great. Ruth also made a special Thank you for coming to my party sticker with my daughters picture on which looked great as part of the party bag to take home.
