Working with Southern Vintage Design was a great experience. Jackie and Celess are very responsive over email, and were always friendly and happy to answer our questions as we negotiated an unusual addition to our contract (from the west coast! ). On the day of the wedding, we met them in person for the first time and it was truly lovely having them at the event. Both women were unfailingly warm, professional, and discreet. In fact, not all of our guests noticed there were two photographers! They captured every moment. The one downside is that despite spoken assurances otherwise, it took them until the very last contractual day (two months after the event) to deliver our photos. That was a long wait, but luckily the pictures were fantastic. We're very happy with them and overall would recommend SVD to anyone. More...

We did a family mini session with them for the holidays and it was great! The shoot was only about 20 mins (which is really important with a 3 year old and a 1. 5 year old). I know that doesn't seem long, but they captured so many great photos of our entire family. I highly recommend them!!! More...

Southern Vintage Design, designed a rack card for my business Sweet Rhi. I just received them in the mail, I love them! I'm so pleased with how they showcase my work. The clean and elegant design is just what I had envisioned! The ladies are so easy to work with, and were very quick in getting it designed and back to me. Jackie is an amazing and talented photographer. When I saw her website, I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer. She has an eye for beautiful shots that you daydream about when planning your wedding. She is passionate about what she does for a living. She made us feel like our wedding was the most important event to not only us but her. She kept in contact throughout the entire process. On day 3 of a 32 day cross country road trip, my wonderful partner proposed to me under a gazebo in Charleston, SC. Thankfully, Jackie and Celess managed to capture the moment AND photograph us for two hours following the proposal as they toured us around the beautiful streets of Charleston. Coming from Philadelphia, my now-fiance was able to get in touch and plan these special moments with Southern Vintage, and the experience of shooting with them was absolutely incredible. Jackie and Celess amplified our giddiness and joy, and I'm so appreciative of how special they made me feel. The two ladies had an eye for the best spots around, and made us look like naturals in front of the camera. The pictures are really beautiful, and we couldn't choose just a few favorites, so we ended up purchasing the rights to all of them! I heard Southern vintage to our engagement photos. We live in Wisconsin and we set up an appointment when we were in Charleston on vacation! Both ladies were so very nice and accommodating to us! Celess had asked me to look up some pictures that I wanted to get on Pinterest and I sent her my board and they printed it out and we pretty much just went down the list and recreated the photos! I was not expecting them to do that. that was so cool! We were so happy when we received all of our images, they were all beautiful and exactly what i wanted :) if I ever need other photos taken in Charleston I would definitely be going through them again! Booking Southern Vintage Design for our wedding photographs at the Cooper River Room in Mt. Pleasant, SC was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. Simply looking at their online portfolio proves how talented they they are at capturing everything at a wedding--the emotion, the important moments, the little details. Even better is just how easy and fun Celess and Jackie were to work with. They responded to emails quickly, got to know the two of us as a couple, and looked at a pinterest board of photo ideas we liked. On the day of the wedding, they were organized, professional, and just a joy to have around! We are sure they captured everything we wanted and more!! Based on the sneak peek photos we've received already, I know for a fact that we found the some of the best wedding photographers in the Charleston area. I am so impressed with Southern Vintage Design! After seeing an advertisement on Instagram for a holiday mini session at the same place my husband and I were married, I knew I had to book a session. Celess and Jackie were a pleasure to work with. Their vibrant and creative personalities made for a wonderful experience! The turn around on pictures was second to none. We had our holiday pictures back in less than a week and a half and the finished product was AMAZING. Their photographs incorporate lots of light and charm into each photo. They capture the mood of the setting very well. I cant wait for future occasions to book sessions with them! Southern Vintage Design captured my engagement photos, bridal portraits, and also my wedding day. They are such talented, professional and organized photographers, and I have beautiful images to remember my engagement and wedding day, that are priceless. On my wedding day, they arrived on time and prepared with my shot list and timeline printed out. They really listen to what you are looking for, and capture the details that makes your wedding day so perfect. They were a joy to have around, and were great to work with in preparation for the big day. They responded quickly to e-mails (I even got my engagement photos back during hurricane Matthew!!!) My husband and I are so happy we found Jackie and Celess at southern vintage design, and we are looking forward to using them in the future! Incredible people make for an incredible experience! They were able to accommodate us and make the trip all the way from Charleston, SC to Atlanta, GA to shoot our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience with nothing but front page magazine quality photos for two people who aren't photogenic! The whole experience was stress-free, fun, and they were extremely informative on putting us in the best situation for the best photos!
