Reasonably priced to get pictures developed. They have a online service to have pictures uploaded and printed. I haven't checked that service out yet.

Southerland's Photo has been around for ever, and Malcom, Betsy and their staff are absolute experts at photography. They have first rate digital cameras and a very interesting collection of used film cameras and lenses. I can trust them for good advice and good value. More...

I experienced excellent customer service at Southerland's Photo Inc. yesterday. I sent a digital photo to their business's very easy to use web site. Within the hour, a very pleasant lady called me to inform me my photo was ready for pick-up. Thank you for quickly helping me to hang a beautiful photo of my son's wedding on my family room wall. Just a cool little shop where you can get your film developed. I've always encountered friendly service here. (And it's reasonable)

Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, but old man charged me something like $20.00 for a Nikon fitting front & rear lens cap. I've been buying all of my gear on eBay since, but would definitely go there for consultation and advice. I just don't like how the older guy screwed me for simple lens caps, but I did want immediate protection for my lens. It's the last time I shopped there. However, they did blow out my camera for free for me to be honest & fair in my experience. More...

I am very glad we can still have small town photo shops like this in the age of internet sales. While having anything at your fingertips at all times is nice, nothing beats real life advice from people who have been in the business for years. Not only that but you can pick up and try out just about anything in the store. It's really nice to bring your body in and try out new lenses before you purchase them.My only very minor complaint is they move through stock so quickly you have to come back frequently if your looking for a specific lens since they may not have it the day you come in. But it's definitely worth waiting and supporting a local shop like this one. More...

Great staff, excellent service! The only place in town that still carries professional films, chemicals, and papers, along with an in-house film lab for color negative and black and white films.

This Mom and Pop Camera Shop has been in business for over 54 years. The staff is competent in all aspects of photography and can assist you with any photographic issue. They sell both new and used equipment as well as process color and hand process b&w film.  They also sell all manner of supplies to do all your b&w yourself. Plus full service digital printing on photo paper. Original owner still running the business and he alone is worth the trip!!!! More...

Friendly staff and fairly quick service. I had some vintage film developed and printed which didn't cost too much and I got them the next day. They have a decently diverse selection of used cameras too. More...

Southerland's has been around forever. Great little shop. They repaired my Nikon when I dropped it on concrete and fixed the flash (actually they shipped it off, but it was done in ~ a month). They take their time to listen and explain things to you and (I believe it was) Mr. Southerland turned me on to Holga (large format negative/film) cameras, which he said is the 'hottest thing the art students are using' and he had them for sale for ~ 25.00  I ended up getting one for my best friend and she and her husband love love it! In the days of the Internet, it is good to know there is still room from a good old fashioned camera store, where you can actually hold something in your hands prior to purchase.  The folks at Southerlands have been good to me over the years (well, there have been bumps in the road) and I will continue to be a customer.  The staff is knowledgeable and willing to give advice as needed or requested. The prices are not out of line, but of course, there is the tax thing.  I am willing to pay a little more to keep a local business operating.   Keep in mind, this is a small camera shop with limited space, so if you are looking for a NY style superstore, well, this ain't it. Southerland's Photo is a quality old-school camera shop that I find myself turning to time and time again -- for excellent quality prints and efficient service. When I have an issue regarding my camera,  the friendly and knowledgeable staff are great at trouble-shooting and expanding my product knowledge. An extra star for drive-through print pick up service and the after-dinner buttery mints at the cash register! More...
