Matt and the entirety of the South Downs Marquee team are superb. We worked with closely for 9 months on the build up to our wedding. Their knowledge and expertise shone through, ensuring our vision came to life. During construction and on take down, the team were polite, respectable and so hard working. Dear Matt & team,A massive thank you for providing us with the most beautiful marquees for Ross & Georgie's wedding. Our guests loved all the detail that you put into dressing the marquees - beautiful glass panes with fairy lights over the dance floor then lighting the trees outside - the effect was stunning. The pin spotlights that highlighted the table decorations were a great suggestion taking the whole look to another level. We were very uncertain of the weather but felt very comforted by your back up plans in case of rain - always a concern when hosting an event at home. Matt was a true professional and a delight to work with and we ended up with our dream marquee. We must also mention that all the crew were polite and hardworking and self-contained - no mean feat when setting up a marquee hosting 250 people for a sit down meal with a bar with an extra large dance floor and stage. All this set up a long distance from the house so also requiring a kitchen and then another marquee for the toilets which provided hat rack, dressing tables and coat racks for guests. In addition there were also two large pagodas one with a stage to support a baby grand piano.The attention to detail and ensuring that we were happy with every decision was a big factor in us feeling so impressed with Matt & Jon and the team. A last big thank you to Matt who worked seamlessly with Minty our event manager from Jacaranda to insure that our every requirement was met. Matt was there for the whole event and even sorted out the fireworks. Nothing was too much trouble. We hired South Down Marquees alongside Jacaranda Catering for our company summer party and were so pleased we did. Superb, highly professional and friendly service.
