I first started training with South Devon Fitness in 2015 my goals were to lose weight and improve my overall health. I found Carl to be very professional and informative. I have been wanting to lose weight but having a few issues with Nutritian and training ,I booked in with Carl and it has helped so much ,I have lost a stone and a half and feel so much better and fitter and will continue to train thanks so much.

This time last year, I had the goal of running the Torbay half marathon for the first time. I am glad to say with the support and guidance of Carl at South Devon Fitness, I managed to complete the distance in 1hr 53 minutes. The training was excellent in every respect, and on the day I found the run comfortable which was a surprise. I continue to have sessions with South Devon Fitness to maintain my exercise level, and I am now looking to run the half marathon in Plymouth and break my personal best. I feel the key to success in achieving goals is creating a good working relationship between me and my clients. It is important for my clients to be able to trust my judgement and expertise.

I am a personal trainer that believes in long term progression and manageable lifestyle changes. I do not endorse quick fixes and I always take an holistic view of my clients overall well being.

I think it is more important to have a body that you are happy with. I want to help to give my clients the confidence to enjoy their body, and be able to make the best of it.

I feel this is best achieved by implementing gradual, sustainable and progressive exercise plans, that meet goals along the journey.

I love helping people gain confidence, and feel good in themselves. The idea that a person will live a longer happier life because we did a little exercise together and it wasn't too difficult. I love the interaction and social benefits of working with people, and building good relationships.

I worked at a 5* hotel and Spa for the past year as a Personal Trainer and I enjoyed this immensely. However I now feel that I want to make my services more accessible to everyone, not just the more exclusive end of the market. I am driven by the passion for my job and that is how I want to live my life. I am also able to now offer personal training at a much more affordable rate than I have over the past year, and this has enabled me to work with a wider range of people.

In my role as a personal trainer I help my clients to exercise safely and effectively. I support my clients in establishing and achieving their personal goals which, is central to improving health, self-efficacy and overall wellbeing.

Struggling to lose weight and being over-weight can feel isolating and overwhelming. As a weight loss specialist I help my clients conquer the challenge. Supporting them as they strive towards meaningful changes.

A Nutrition Coach combines the qualities of a Nutritionist, Counsellor and Mentor. I empower my clients to achieve self-determined goals in relation to eating balanced, healthy and nutritious meals. Furthermore, I consider the impact of emotional relationship's with food & drink.

Central to being able to exercise effectively and the attainment of goals, is being injury and pain free. As a first-class graduate in Injury Rehabilitation and level 4 Sports Massage therapist, I am able to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate muscular and joint conditions.
