The whole experience with Sourcebrew has been amazing and a very smooth one. Communication was very clear from their side during each stage of the service, and I was very confident from the very beginning that the end product would be incredible. When we first approached Sourcebrew, and we had was a small vision, but no idea how we were going to make this into a website. Sourcebrew made our small vision into reality, and the end result was greater than we had planned as a platform. Thank you for your amazing service. Definitely will be recommending you to everyone we know. More...

Q&As

A great website first and foremost is able to communicate your business goals effectively. It has to help your business grow and inspire confidence to your brand. This is achieved through 3 fundamental steps:

1. User Experience

In order for a user to effectively navigate around your website, it needs to be designed in such a way which provides a great user experience. The interface must be intuitive, gently guiding users to the information they need exactly when they want it. We achieve this by thinking from the users perspective. We ask questions like:

What would a prospective customer want to achieve?
How could we help them achieve it?
How can we make the experience as comfortable as possible?

By answering these questions, we are able to map out a great user experience strategy which we can take to the design phase.

2. Design

Once we have a solid user experience strategy in place, we can look at the design. A visually appealing design is paramount in ensuring that your business inspires confidence.

We use techniques such as colour psychology, font pairings, layout structures and more to present and organise your content in a manner which reflects what you are trying to achieve.

For example, if a website was designed using bright colours, we’d associate that with ‘fun’ and ‘energetic’, which would not be appropriate for a business which requires a more serious look and feel.

3. Development

When building a great website, the backend architecture (or the code) is key. Good development practices will ensure that the website is fast and searchable (no good if people aren’t able to find your website!).

Speed is important. Research suggests that users tend to bounce away from your website if the load times are slow.

Furthermore, in order for your website to be visible on search engines, it needs to be developed in a SEO friendly manner. This is important to get right in the development phase to maximise your online marketing efforts.

By combining the above 3 practices, you can proudly say you have a great website which not only looks good, but helps you achieve your business goals.

We usually ask any prospective client the following 5 questions to better understand the scope of their project:

1) What problem are you trying to overcome?

2) What is the main purpose of your website / app ?

3) Have you seen any sites recently that you like the visual design of? What did you like about them?

4) Your budget dictates how much time we can devote to your vision. What are you looking to spend to achieve this vision (rough estimate/ballpark figure)?

5) What are your timeline or deadlines?

Our success is measured by the success of our clients. We adapt the 'we're in this together' approach and take time to understand your problems to identity solutions that would work for you.

You'll work with a motivated, hungry, creative team that treats your business objectives as their own. As curious digital natives, we're always on the front lines of cutting edge trends and worked with some of the most recognised national & global brands.
