Chris takes my two dogs on weekly adventures. My dogs are very nervous and shy but they warmed up to him immediately. You can tell he is just great with dogs. Chris and Mason are the best! I've been very hesitant in the past to try to find a walker or sitter for my heeler mix, Penny, because she isn't the easiest to introduce new people to. She's extremely slow to warm up to strangers and almost always defaults to aggressive barking when someone new enters the room. Luckily, my sister recommended Souls for Paws when I needed a dog sitter for a 2 week vacation back in March. Chris knew exactly how to approach Penny and our older golden retriever mix and quickly won them over! I've used them since then for occasional walks and another overnight weekend stay and can't say enough good things about the experience every time.  I have friends that Penny's been around many times who still can't come near her without her barking, but Chris and Mason both quickly bonded with her. It's such a relief to know that we've found a great dog sitting option and makes me feel a lot more comfortable taking out of town trips. Update: we continue to use souls for paws for on going adventures and overnights! There's no one we trust more than Chris with our dogs! We hired Souls for Paws when we adopted a rescue Rottweiler 8month old pup in addition to our previously adopted Pitbull who had some major previous trauma. When the trainer first came the Rottie actually tensed up and growled I was shocked but it made me even more glad I hired them. Since that point our rottie has become much more confident from being initially leash aggressive, cowering sometimes when meeting new people or being petted and peeing when we came home or meeting new people, to a much more balanced dog. She does wonderfully meeting new people and dogs. We now know how best to exhaust her mind and body so she isn't chewing on furniture and whatever else she can find. She hasn't had an accident in weeks. The pitbull has been learning obedience and has become much calmer when greeting new people and handles crating much better as well. As owners we also have a better understanding of our dogs behavior now and we feel more confident working with them and reinforcing the training. I can't recommend Souls for Paws enough More...

OMG This company is awesome. First of all I hired Chris to help me with my dog Bunker. He was acting out aggressively and it took Chris no time to help us. Then Chris stressed how important it is to keep Bunker's inner animal satisfied. It made so much sense and now I have the best dog ever, because of THE BEST COMPANY EVER! We were so nervous leaving our fur babies for such a long time but Chris stayed at our home with our 4 very spoiled and needy fur babies for 9 long days.  He was AWESOME!! He sent us several videos daily and was very quick to respond to any messages we sent him. He was even so kind to check our mail and water the plants so they wouldn't die in the heat.  Chris and Souls for Paws is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will definitely be using him again for any of our pet needs.  Elton will be signing up for some adventures as well in the near future. More...

After unexpectedly becoming single it became very real how much I had to do all by myself.  I did not want the "babies" to suffer with me working and trying to do everything and one day while walking them I ran into the owner of Souls For Paws and he was there to the rescue!  Not only did they help me with insuring my dogs got the exorcise and attention they needed while I was working but also helped me to learn how to better handle them in public and in general.  I highly recommend their services to anyone who is needing help or guidance with their "furbabies"! YALLLL!! Chris has been taking care of my dog for a few months now, and he is the best thing to ever happen to us. Not only does he take Kaiya on daily adventures that she absolutely loves, but he has the best relationship with her. ..and you know if you're a dog owner that is exactly what you want; someone who loves and cares for your dog just like you do. Chris LOVES Kaiya and I can definitely say the feeling is mutual; my dog loves him just as well. My dog is my life, and I trust Chris with her's everyday. Their bond is so special and I feel so lucky to be able to have someone so wonderful take care of my little babe every day while I'm away at work. A year ago we rescued our dog, Milo from the Animal Center. He's a 3 year old Pit Terrier mix. So sweet with humans but had some dog aggression. Chris has been training Milo for a few weeks now and we have seen so much improvement! Milo will actually wait for Chris to come over for play time even on the days that Chris isn't scheduled. He gets so excited the minute he walks in. Milo loves tug a war, playing fetch and getting out for a run with Chris. Milo now ignores the dogs barking at him when he walks by. Such a relief! Chris has for 3 weeks now Felie a kind of small rodhesian ridgeback, two years old. Felie is a very friendly human dog but has no clue how to behave with others dogs: aggressive, barking, growling etc. ..to the point I lost confidence to walk my dog. I got the training stick 3 days ago and I can't thank you enough for this! It's absolutely the best training toy I ever purchase. I was hesitate to spend $50 in something I wasn't sure but I'm glad I did. My dog, Sophia is a pit bull/ catahoula mix with so much energy and needs a lot of attention. I try to play with her and walk long walks but nothing got her as tired like this stick. I thought she would grab the fur on the tip of the stick and don't let it go but she does cause I think she wants to chase it again.I will send a video soon!! Thank you, thank you thank you!!! With a new baby, full time jobs, and 3 dogs, we don't get to spend the time with our pups like we would want to. Chris has been integral in helping keep Rosco active and happy. Rosco is a rescue pup, and doesn't trust just anyone, but it took very little time for Rosco to trust Chris, and I can see and feel it every time Rosco hears Chris' voice when he comes to pick him up. Having someone we trust to take Rosco on adventures that we wish we had time to do is such an amazing help. Chris displays patience and professionalism in helping Rosco with his leash aggression, and overall experience walking on a leash. She is so much happier now that he is taking care of her! Chris has SAVED THE DAY on long work days, on family emergencies, and on last minute requests. He's even walked up to 3 dogs for me when I was dog sitting! He loves my dog well and sends such great updates. He is responsive, kind, willing, responsible, upbeat, and so helpful.

Chris is AMAZING!! I have a 100lb anatolian shepherd great Dane mix who was extremely leash reactive, she tore both my shoulder labrums trying to get to other dogs, and Chris has gotten her on a level where she can meet other dogs in a friendly manner. I was afraid my dog would never be able to behave like a friendly dog and I now feel like we can go out in public without incidents. Not only do your dogs get training and playtime with Chris, they will get a trainer that connects on a different level with them. And you ask how do I know they do? Chris snapchats every single session/playtime with your dogs and you can see it on their faces. My dogs are so excited to see Chris when he arrives, I have had trainers and programs I sent my anxious Border Collie in the past where he is so afraid for me to leave him. Chris had worked with my timid and anxious Border Collie, Rambo, to make him feel confident around new dogs and new people. I have another Border Collie puppy, and he helps get that built up energy out on play dates so I don’t come home to my pillows being torn up on my couch, lol!
