Pricey, but the absolute BEST vanilla and chocolate chip cake I have ever had. I get this cake for every single event I possibly can, whether it be a Birthday, graduation or wedding/baby shower. Ever since I tried these cakes I or my mom will drive over an hour out to PA to get them.Definitely get the Chocolate Chip Cake - it is moist and delicious every time, even when it is a few days old. Hands down they have the best cakes! I had there cake for the first time at a birthday party and have been hooked since. I used to drive an hour away to north Philadelphia for cakes! No more. I now drive an hour here! There cakes are moist, and the icing is real butter cream! I Have had butter pound cake and a choc chip pound cake and I do agree a lot of the chocolates chips did settle ! Friendly and clean environment with prompt service. I sampled this place by purchasing 4 cupcakes - lemon, triple chocolate, salt caramel chocolate and carrot cake - the salty caramel was too salty. So, yesterday was my first time ordering a cake from SophistiCakes. I preordered a cake for my mother’s 60th birthday, and it was beautiful, not only was it beautiful, but it was downright delicious ! It was a pound cake with buttercream icing, and I must say I’m not a cake eater, but when I tasted that cake, I was in love ! I’ve never tasted a pound cake that was so darn moist! I was so happy that I had to call them, and let them know how good this cake was, and how they can NEVER EVER EVER GO OUT OF BUSINESS...Hahaha!!
