Sooner BBQ

It's been over a year since we have eaten at Sooner BBQ. The last time I was there I was Not impressed with the food or the cleanliness of the dining area. My opinion has changed, today we gave it another try and I was so glad that we did. The food was excellent and the dining area was spotless. We had a pulled pork sandwich with french fries and it was absolutely wonderful. The pork is cooked and smoked to perfection and the fries are awesome. The food here is fantastic! You order at the counter, stop and grab some silverware, and find your favorite table. Then the awesome staff brings out your food. Portions are large and delicious!

Sooner BBQ is one of the best BBQ places around. They serve more than just BBQ as well. The owners and staff are very friendly, local people that care about their community. You should definitely stop by and get lunch or dinner. Don't forget the banana pudding!!!! More...

It was so good my buddy reached in and started eating the pulled pork by hand hahahaha. They said it feed 3 to 4 people and with drink it came to 21 dollars. .. We are both full and could only eat half ... They where not joking!!! That's basically what you would spend at McDonald's but you get more food and it tastes a whole heck of a lot better. Also... Really good! CHICKEN WAS GREAT! Mac and cheese was sticky but VERY tasty! The green beans tasted like bacon not green beans but this was a really good find!

Fantastic food, delicious sauces, cozy atmosphere, reasonable priced and extremely friendly staff make this a restaurant I'm happy to help support. Brad and Barbi (the owners) are always kind and welcoming, making it a pleasant experience.I work nearby and eat lunch there almost everyday, so much so that the staff know my name and I don't even have to say my order when I call it in as they recognize my voice.The sauces can vary at times based on who made them, so if something is not to your liking I recommend asking about it instead of having a negative first impression. They are extremely accommodating and take positive criticism well.All in all, probably one of my favorite restaurants ever. I'm certain my bank account isn't as fond of it given how much I eat there, however they also have an answer for that. They are great people pushing snow the lady stopped by and told us to come in the mall and she would feed us supper it was great also gave us 2 pounds to take to the other guys pushing the roadways thanks so much and the donuts were amazing

Pretty good food and prices but they need to scrap those ketchup packets and replace them with real ketchup on the tables, also they need to pick up the dirty dishes and silverware more often and not let it pole up.

This is a place that we discovered when we moved here. The owner recommended the "hog trough" to my husband which has a little bit of everything and is Hugh! Of course my husband couldn't finish it!We bring all of our visitors here and of COURSE they have to try it to see if they can finish all if that food.
