Finally a place to board our pups that we feel totally at ease with. Loved seeing the pictures each day which showed the fun they were having! Maybe it has been suggested before, it would be nice if you had cameras so we could remotely check on our girls . But either way we will see you on our next trip to Phoenix. Left my dog here for 1 week. He is epileptic and needs medicine every 12 hrs. We rented the condo which was perfect for him seeing he likes to be alone and have it quiet. I brought him a dvd for his own tv in his room. I got 2 report cards letting me know how he was doing and a picture. That made us feel so much better. It's hard to find single room boarding facilities. We looked at 3 places and decided to pick this place. The other places were extremely loud with barking and that stresses him out. I brought a paper with all my instructions to make it easier. I received all his items back. And to top it off he came back extremely clean. We have boarded our two pups on many occasions and put them in daycare twice a week. The program is wonderful and the staff are great and are very caring with our fur babies. They are so excited to go to daycare each and every time that we hardly get the car door open before they are trying to jump out. I have been boarding my fur babies here for years and I only have good things to say. They are attentive, professional, and give excellent customer service. Recently my Rhodesian ridgeback had bilateral ACL repairs surgically all within one month. They watched him closely and gave his medication to him. When I picked Ruger up he was doing excellent compared to the one and only time I boarded him somewhere else and he was left in a fenced indoor park all day for hours with other dogs. Where do I even start? This place is absolutely amazing. Our Australian Shepherd attends daycare and boarding here often and we’ve never had any bad experiences. The moment I walk into the door they know my dogs name and they are always so excited to see him. This makes me feel at ease knowing that I’m leaving my dog in good hands with people that genuinely love their job and that care about their clients/customers. Every time I pick him up he is always happy. Their prices are fair and affordable and the place is always clean. The staff is absolutely amazing and so accommodating. They will go above and beyond for you. I love that they post pictures of the pups playing so I can check on my dog and see what he’s up too while I’m out of town or busy running errands. My dog gets so excited when we drop him off-he loves it! I also love that he seems to get a lot of his energy out and has learned to socialize with other dogs in a positive way. All the people working there have been very professional and friendly and seem to enjoy having our dog there. My only complaint is that there is no outdoor area for play or for them to go to the bathroom. He has come home with his paws/legs smelling like urine a couple times, but we just wash his feet. I recommend SDPR for pets to have fun and be taken care of. More...

Let your pet be the judge. If Mollie had an opposable thumb and Facebook account I can tell you Sonoran would get a 6 star rating. She's stayed overnight and goes to daycare regularly when we're in town, and literally pulls us to the door. She loves the groomers as well. Jerry and I wouldn't consider another facility. I do wish they'd add a veterinarian services but we understand that's a costly proposition. More...

WONDERFUL place! I started going there when I just had my cats. I don't know how they manage to groom my cats, but never once have I seen them get cut from the razor (and my cats are not easy to groom). I called right away once they are done so they don't get too stressed staying there. My cats always look beautiful, smell great and have a very clean sanitary cut. When I got my first dog this was the first place I thought of for day care. Tyrion LOVES it! He gets excited by the word "day care" now. I have a very high energy dog. When he is not in day care weekly he will destroy everything (actually managed to flood the house once by chewing through the hose that connects into the wall from the toliet with a cone on). Tyrion gets so tired that he sleeps for days after his play. I love how they have to evaluate the dogs before allowing them into daycare. They also moniter the dogs as well during play which is awesome. My dog can climb a 6 foot chain link fence with no issues, and it is great knowing that they will catch him if he even attempts at it. I always know that my little guy is happy and safe when he is there. The staff is also excellent! So friendly and they all love to say hello to Tyrion when he arrives (always a plus when you know know your pet is getting the proper attention). If I forget to bring my animals updated records, the staff is always willing to reach out to the vet for me and get them. Never had my pets stay over night but if I ever need to board my animals I would not even consider any other place. You cannot go wrong with Sonoran Desert Pet Resort! More...

Our 15 months Havanese has been going there for about a month and she loves it. She's going two days a week and doesn't try to race me out the door as I leave, she's willing and ready to go back with the staff and play with her doggie Pals. We love that they're scheduled activities and that she learns different things to do each day of the week. The staff does a fantastic job at watching the dogs and keeping them busy having fun. We love seeing the pictures posted on Facebook and watching her in the videos it's so fun to see her play with so many different breeds of dogs.
