Another one bites the dust. Closed for good (28th November 2017), thanks to corrupt and morally bankrupt developers and Councillors. According to 'Save Tin Pan Alley', '...the Alley Cat was always a part of Consolidated Developments plans for closure. Passed by Camden Planning Officer Ms Amanda Peck in November 2013 and now working in a similar capacity in Islington Council as a Planner. Ward Councillor Sue Vincent did nothing to prevent this. We thought you should know'. Final nail in the coffin for good old Denmark Street. Feel free to let the individuals and corporations mentioned above know what you think of them. More...

One of the last true dive bars in London. Run by Max, one of the last truly great figures on the London indie music scene. Historic, hip, chaotic - the Alley Cat will be missed when it's gone and replaced with a pointless vape shop, or whatever it is the council think they can screw more money from instead. More...
