Jon was the photographer at our wedding in July and he was amazing. He met us beforehand and visited the venue to recce possible footage. Jon spoke to our celebrant and videographer beforehand and worked naturally with both to ensure everything was perfect. He is efficient and professional, yet easy going and makes you feel totally at ease - in fact we often forgot he was there he was so discreet but he and Cerrie captured everything. We have received our fantastic photos and cannot stop looking at them, they are wonderful. He also worked well with the children at the wedding and gave them a camera to use and little jobs to do, which they loved. Our guests have not stopped saying how relaxed, friendly but efficient he was on the day. Jon Ball seems a very professional photographer and I hope I will feel the same on my wedding day.

Jon photographed my wedding yesterday, All guests have had access to everything the next morning, or should I say we could view a few when we went to bed at 1am! Amazing!
I could not be more pleased with the photos and to also how relaxed he made myself and my husband feel. I’m incredibly photo shy!
I feel we were incredibly lucky to find him, as it would not of been the same wedding without him!
We and our families will be forever in awe at the amazing photos and memories we will cherish all thanks to Jon. After meeting Jon when he photographed my sisters wedding there was really no doubt that we would ask him to capture our wedding day. In the run up to the wedding Jon was available to answers questions and this helped immensely with planning. On our wedding day Jon was great, he offered guidance and direction whilst accommodating all of our guests. Our pictures were available by the next morning for us to view and were nothing short of amazing. Jon had captured us all perfectly from our toddler to our 95 year old Nanna! Our wedding day was very simple yet was filled with fun and excitement with the help of Jon. He is so easy, approachable and very professional. He knows how to handle his clients and people around. At first I was worried about hiring him because our wedding is just very simple and I did not know him or even met him to talk about the photography. Jon was absolutely brilliant, he listened to what we wanted and delivered. We want a lot of documentary photography with only a few posed photos, Jon mingled into the background and got some fantastic pics. Jon's photos are incredible and he always seems to capture special moments in such a creative way which helps bring the photos to life when you look back at them. He has photographed many of our musical concerts played outdoors which is not a great combination for a photographer as lighting is problematic and getting the right pose from someone playing a brass instrument, for example, can be tricky! Jon is the only photographer I know who can produce excellent results for us without making them look staged. He has a great eye for design and his illustrations are exceptional. Jon has photographed a variety of school photographs for me from leavers yearbook & school prom photos to major productions, dance, drama and music showcases, all of which have been superb. He is very polite, friendly, and professional in his work as well as discrete when required for photographing the shows. His post production work is fantastic and he is always happy to help with anything he can eg resizing the photos for easy placement into the yearbook. With his many years of experience he has extensive photographic knowledge which he is happy to share if help is required. Solid Imagery also has an easy to use, password protected website from which parents can obtain prints if required.
