I had the pleasure and the honor to work with this amazing young woman again for a wedding. Sokkha Va is extremely talented,professional, & caring person! She is a natural at Wedding planning. She takes the time to really get to know her clients, works extremely well with the vendors, & reassures her client that they will have the most beautiful & wonderful experience for their special once in a lifetime day! I had the privilege of working with Sokkha Va Events on 8/15/15. My band Project DCQ was contracted for a event Sokkha Va was running. Sokkha herself and her team were amazing to watch. They left no detail to chance and did everything with style and grace. I had a feeling this was going to be the case because of all the energy Sokkha put into the event. Prior to the date she called,emailed and used smoke signals to get everyone on the same page. I must add this was not a walk in the park event. The clients were very demanding and weren't respectful of others time.(that's a long story) I would go as far as to say it was Sokkha's logistical talents that saved that reception. Here team was there the day before and the day of literally helping with everything. They didn't leave till the end, and that's unheard of for a event planner to stay till the fat lady sings. I personally appreciated the extra love and professionalism she showed everyone and I can't wait to see where she's at in 2 years!!! More...

Sokkha is absolutely amazing. We had so much fun during the shoot. It was my first photo shoot and I was really nervous but she made it really comfortable. She captured so many different moments some beautiful, some hilarious, and some very precious. If you are looking for a photographer which will listen to your concerns and go above and beyond to capture the perfect moments then she is the one. What can I say about Sokkha? She is AMAZING, extremely talented, and will bend over backwards for her clients. Sokkha was really put through the ringer for our wedding and had to deal with a lot of unfortunate issues. At times, my now husband and I would look at each other and thank God we had Sokkha working for us. If not, we would have been stressed out of our minds! Right from the beginning, Sokkha was incredibly sweet, easy to talk to, and walked through every little detail with us. She included timelines throughout the process, from 5-6 months away to a month before. Although her job pertained mainly to coordinating the day of our wedding, she truly went above and beyond! Not only did she help us secure rooms at a local hotel but also assisted with any issues we had with the venue. When we were told a week before our wedding that table linens needed to be rented, she even helped us with that! Although Sokkha is not a florist, she was kind enough to also make bouquets and flower centerpieces for our tables. Hopefully you can now see why Sokkha is someone you would want on the day of your wedding. From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO much Sokkha for everything you have tirelessly done for us over these past several months. Our wedding would not have been complete if it wasn’t for you and your assistants help. We are not just clients anymore, but good friends. If anyone is thinking of hiring Sokkha, I would not second guess that decision. Hire her and you will have the best wedding of your life!! Thanks again Sokkha!

If you’re wondering whether you should hire a wedding coordinator, stop wondering. Just hire Sokkha. Sokkha and her team go above and beyond to ensure your day will go just how you imagined. She also has great relationships with vendors, and can give you recommendations and advice that is never pushy, and always thoughtful and informed. We don’t know what we would have done without Sokkha. From running our rehearsal and wrangling our ring bearers, flower girls, and my father to do so, to setting up all our centerpieces and arranging the backyard set-up at our rustic wedding, Sokkha made it happen.
