Love the Hong Kong pork. I used to go to the brick and mortar store in Fitchburg once a week for their lunch combo which included a rice dish and 3 potstickers. I started a job downtown and was excited to try the food cart. I was very disappointed to find their food cart does not provide the same combo. For about the same price, you get the rice dish with no potstickers included.I probably won’t be going back to the food cart, but I would still recommend the main store to anyone. More...

I wasn't so sure about this place at first... I'm so HAPPY that I tried it. I enjoyed my meal, I ordered the pepper steak with rice. ...I can't really say enough but my meal was delicious!! I also tried the brussel sprouts, believe it or not they were very tasty as well. This place is far from fancy but the food was AMAZING!! This restaurant simply has the best Bakkut teh in Madison, probably in the Midwest area. The dish came with 3 bones of pork ribs, rice, and some bok choy for only $10. 5. Besides their bakkut teh, their hainanese chicken rice is also really good, very similar to the ones in Singapore. I highly recommend you to try this item as it is simply amazing! More...

Good food, I didn't realize it was counter service before coming but that was no problem. However when I went to order it took a minute for someone to come to the counter even though there was a staff member/owner talking with the one other table their - we had to wait for one of the two guys running between the kitchen and the dining room to come out and take our order. There was also a Red Envelope promotion for Chinese New Year and given how empty the restaurant was there should have been plenty, but we were not given one. Before leaving I asked for one but the deal inside was clearly to be used during that visit so I couldn't use it. Run by a great guy, staffed by good people, constantly yummy food! Try the tofu share plate, even if tofu hasn't been your thing before-- the texture and sauce are *really* good. I love the sassy peanut salad, the restaurant-size portion is a little on the spicy side because you get so much salad + dressing but the ingredients are always fresh and taste really good together. I always love a good Asian fusion meal, and this is a contender for a new favorite place in Madison. How do decide what I liked the most? ! The perfectly fried tofu? The flavorful, peppery steak? Such a gem in Fitchburg, it's the BF and I's go-to takeout place for a quality quick meal during the week. We've tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Also cannot say enough about the off the menu specials usually once a month- highly recommend. We love it!
